A much better alternative to the leaver buster system
The biggest reason people get pissed off by leavers is the fact that you are stuck in the match wasting time up until the 20 minute mark. Instead of setting up a stupid automated leaver buster that can't tell the difference between rage quitters, connection issues, and people who just generally have a lot going on; why not just allow an early surrender if 1 person has been afk for more than 3-5 minutes.
They can even stop trolls who leave and come back just to extend the match; but cutting them out of voting entirely.
Also for a better voting system, I think if 3 out of 5 people vote for a surrender, it should set a few minutes for a revote. If 3 people vote to surrender again; then it should surrender regardless of the 2 stubborn people. (I think ranked matches should keep the same system though, as yes people do give up too easily. In ranked the goal is to win, in normal the goal is to have fun. If 3 people want to surrender, then they are obviously not having fun. The other 2 people can go have fun in their next match).
Reserve the leaver buster system for people who pull this shit in ranked.
Instead of voting me down, perhaps people can give an actual reason as to why they dislike the idea?
