Snowballing... too extreme?

In all of my games, if someone gets a few kills the enemy laner cant do anything without any help, and even then, some champs will 1v2. Snowballing is a good mechanic in this game to reward you for your kills and such, but i think it's a bit too extreme.

A "few" kills? That's HUGE in lane. Let's say you feed your opposing top laner FB at level 4, 3:15, and because of it, you miss 3 minions and she gets 2 minions.

If both of you had decent farm (both of you missed only 1 wave), the opponent can now buy 2 longswords and 3 2 potions. You can buy a longsword and 1 potion or cloth armor and 2 potions. At that point, the opponent literally has double your items.

If you die 2 times to your opponent? Then they're pretty much untouchable unless they make a mistake, you hit a power spike or you get a gank.

That's how the game is supposed to work.

You shouldn't be able to win head to head against someone who's ahead. However, you can still outplay them, and can still win.

i don't see the problem with that. In soccer, a single goal against you is a huge mistake. League is more like soccer than basketball.
