I just saw a Warwick ult through a Yasuo
Can you fix the hitbox already? It's either completely bugged or is a quarter width of Leblanc's chain

It's meant to be an extremely slim skillshot, otherwise it had the same issue as old Warwick where his ult was an easily hitable suppress.
Edit: I'm not Riot, I'm just repeating what I know as to why it is the way it is. I'm not saying I want it to be the way it is now.
Wtf does this even mean. What part of having an ult that does something is problematic? So when Vi ults you it's not easily hitable? When you're unable to avoid or cleanse her ult, that's fine cause there's no use of the word suppress in her ult description?
Different champion, different problems.
except it's not but sure
Vi has to build damage to deal damage, doesn't have any good stickiness in her kit, and doesn't have a free 55% damage reduction buff on top of an AoE fear that would allow her to dive 1v5 with literally no counterplay.

I disagree with everything you said except the damage reduction.
WW's E only reduces damage by 55% at rank 5. It starts at 35%. If he is using the fear, he has lost the damage reduction.
The ult can be dodged, and even if he lands it he likely won't get out if its a 1v5 (unless he is already fed to a ludicrous extent or something like that).
Both Vi and WW have similar levels of stickiness: (While WW is suffering from some clunkyness issues currently, lets look at how his kit should be functioning.)
Vi has the advantage of having CC on both mobility tools, having more range on her Q (versus WW's Q), and not having to channel to keep someone locked down. WW has the advantage of having a conditional out of combat MS boost (albeit at the cost of feeling like a snail when you aren't chasing someone), having his fear, not having telegraphed dashes, and being able to outrange Vi's mobility with with enough movement speed (WW's R).
Also I didn't put following enemy mobility since Vi can technically do that w/ her R.
Her shield + CotC. Enough said.

You can avoid Vi ulti though, several champions posses abilities that render them untargetable or break chains locked on them.
As for item to accomplish this,
.
I'm pretty sure it's meant to be the same width as Warwick's champion model when he leaps.
No, it'd be difficult to hit because teammates can just stand in front of his key target. Same counterplay as Rengar, really.
meanwhile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lcsa9mzrYas&t=50s start from 0:50 if it doesnt automatically do it
WHAT THE FUCK
it probably was slightly to short. WW slides quite a distances after landing at max range, so if he aims slightly to short, it often looks as if he jumps right through the target.
Just happened to me, I have it on replay. It seems like it lags when I hit him, and I kind of stutter through him.
I think the biggest problem I have with his ult is when you flash-ult, it feels like you go farther than the ult is meant to. I don't mean because of flash, but after you flash, it seems like you go almost double the distance, and possibly miss everyone in the path.
Riot took the old hitbox for Shyvana ult, and gave it to Warwick
then gave shyvana ult a larger hitbox
the hitbox and such is fine, he just moves all the hell over while he ults so you can never gauge is it really should hit or not
so is this yasuo qq thread # 12093830452u90345349867 or is this a ww thread?
To be honest, I've never had a problem with WW ult, if I missed, than it has always been due to my inaccuracy. I don't see how so many people are complaining about his skillshot hitbox, it has a travel time, so if your target moves out of range as you are in flight, you will miss obviously.
the moment you just hop over a brand who was midway between you and the destination point of your ult.
ive also jumped quite literally on top of a few people without the ult going off. its really buggy.
i once jumped through a nasus. next game i clipped onto a poppy instead of their adc.
Did he windwall it though?
From a reliabilty standpoint for say, competitive play, WW will never be viable with the state of his current ultimate. It can be very satisfying, but it is very unreiable. It is difficult to land reliably if not at point nlank range. Who wants an ultimate that only hits half the time and the other half it launches WW out of position. There can be value to his new ultimate that the old didnt have. It can be used as a gap closer and an escape, all be it an expensive one.
I think this makes sense from the stance Riot has of Warwick as a beginners jungler. Their intention isnt for Warwick to be equally viable in execution and reliability like Lee Sin and Vi.
I do think that is a mistake though. It feels like sloppy neglect on the designers part. There are many junglers with high mobility with more reliability in their kits. Vi's ult has aoe potential, large range, knocks up, and most importantly is a reliable tramfight initiation tool or peel dor carry ability. Lee Sins ult, the same - point and click, offense or defense.
Warwicks ult, even when landed can now be broken or disengaged from even more abilities than his previous ult suppression. Any hard cc stops the ultimate after he lands. Theres no suppression anymore from what I can tell. Janna tornados for example break it and the victim gains immediate movement.
He can also be killed in air from damage which is also frustrating. He can die before he makes it to his target. And the body blocking WW has to try to position around compared to other champs who can lock onto a target they want.
His ultimate has the same feeling of a Blitzcrank now from the stand point of when hooks hit theyre great and when hooks miss Blitz usually is a liability for his team and they lose.
Warwick is much more situational than he used to be. His item builds are a mess where teams are relying less on his ult output as it is unrelianle and asking WW to build near pure tank. The update definitely shifted WWs playstyle. The removal of his old W attack speed buff on demand and healing passive has turned WW into a very mediocre duelist, whefe he used to thrive 1v1.
And since his ulty is unreliable and hard to hit on the exact target at the exact time you want, I find myself waiting for windows or hard cc to land by one of my teammates to ult onto an enemy thats already incapacitated to chain cc and ensure my ulty nets teamfight value.
Hes also lousy at tower pushing now which was one of my favorite parts of his kit Riot gutted.
The main problem with Warwicks new kit is he only has 2 out of 4 abilities that do damage. Vi has 4 out of 4. Hecarim and Lee Sin 3/4. Heca drain may count for 4 out of 4. Point being Warwick has his short range bite and a sloppy innacurate, unrileliable ult. Thats it for damage output abilities.
If you miss your ult, which new WW will a ton of, or hit someone you didnt aim for, then just your Q is left. And considering his ult is single target with no aoe impact compared to Lee Sin, Vi, Hecarim it seems off that his payout is lower but his reliability is also lower comparex to the aoe ults above. Both Gragas and Heca have hige ult radius' that so AOE damage and put hard cc on enemies in a large area.
The whole point of target lock ults like Warwicks original ulty, was being a trade off for having a narrower impact than other kits ults, ie. Amumu.
Its hard to grasp balance changes removing the reliable aspects to WWs ult when Malzahar kept his suppression and target lock in a ranged version.
Warwicks kit feels real bad trying to fight anyone in the jungle or in lane one on one above 50%hp. He gained enhanced chasing ability and gave up a lot of his threat 1 on 1. No one respects Warwicks jg now. Enemy teams counter jungle the snot out of him now since Wick is even more immobile without a low hp enemy triggered and he cant self heal and duel anywere near what he used to.
He's a sitting duck early on. Im curious if Warwick will get pulled into the upcoming tank update. I doubt it considering he just got reworked, but right now he's pretty much solely played as a tank. Wick is in an odd place where he hasnt benefited directly from any of the item updates for job classes.
His kit is very hit and miss. I have some hard carry games and many others where im just a feont line tank dealing 11k damage in a win and trying to soak as much as I can allow my carries to do their thing. Since his higher output item builds still count on his ultimate landing to deal damage, those builds are very dicey.
Especially with the amount of item abilities that shield away a spell it seems right to at least make WWs longrange ult leaps have a larger and more forgiving hit box as if his arms were spreas out during leap to grab someone or simulating flight.
Also I cant tell what E is doing around my ulty when I want to chain it around the ult, when if I miss sometimes I want to proc my E during leap to then trigger when I land so I can ensure some cc at least meets thise where I land nearby.
Hes ok, clunk, fun, not reliable, weak to counter jungling, very average at solo drags now, probably around an average duelist now.
