That's plat+ only. Xin's mostly known as an insane snowballer in low elo.

It's impossible to balance champions around both elos. Also Riven and Katarina has the same snowball potential in low elo, katarina might have even higher one, even if she's not viable in higher elo atm.

To me, he felt almost usuless before the buff and now hes in an ok spot. P.S i don't play him

He was doing ok in my plat ranked games last season. Honestly I felt like the AD bonus ratio was fine, but the crit thing needs to go. He already had a really strong early game gank potential, now he's basically 100-40 you with basically zero counterplay early game unless you have flash/mobility spell.

Rengar with 5 stacks practicaly could do the same... After the buff, I didn't saw any Xin player who would have caried the game, yet. I feel like hes almost as bad as he was, becouse it's very easy to kite him.

Rengar can't do it without his ult. He doesn't have any sort of gapcloser coming from the jungle until level 6.

Xin can do that at level 3.

Idk what weed did you smoke, but at level 3 rengar can jump from bush, flash on you or just strightly come in to lane and snare you for 2 seconds by taking at least 50% of squieshy target hp. I have no problems against lvl 3 Xin ganks at all. Even Gragas with a decent offensive rune page could do the same or even more at level 3 and he HAS A GAP CLOSER!!!

  1. How the fuck does jungle Rengar jump from a bush to the middle of mid lane.

  2. The fucking snare is dodgeable.

  3. Gragas has zero sustained damage later in fights, nor is his sustain through the roof in duels.

If you're playing against experienced rengar, you will need to burn your flash, if you didn't saw him coming. I thought were talking about lvl 3 ganks atm?

I don't think you understand, Rengar has to either Flash, or walk through lane with you near a bush to jump onto you pre6, while Xin can the moment he gets E. As a mid or bottom laner you have to have the worst positioning for Rengar to do that, it's only realistic that he does this top lane due to the general nature of the lane, and even then, the person he's jumping on would've had to have been under tower the entire time to allow Rengar to walk through lane into the bushes.

Also, champions have received buffs or nerfs based on their performance in low elo. Ashe for example only had poor performance in low elos but had great success plat+, but still got changed anyways to make her more reliable in low elos and less oppressive at higher elos. Some champions have also been nerfed due to doing really well in low elos despite fairly average performance in higher elos. The opposite is also true, some champions have been nerfed due to their strengths in competitive play or how oppressive they are when played well even though they were fairly bad in low elos.

Unfortunately I did understund. He isn't fun to play against and thats it, but hes NOT broken and can be kited to death, especialy in s6, where mobile champions are play more often. The only strenght he has, is ability to 1vs1 anyone. In higher elo, he can't jump on a carys and destroy them, becouse the second he would dive, he would get cc'ed and murdered. He's low utility champion and I can't call him being mobile only becouse he can use E as a gap closer.

Also, he 100 % needs a rework, becouse hes design is awful and outdated with 0 outplay potential, no excitment to play with nor fun to play against.

For example, people in low elo think that rengar, yasuo, katarina, akali, fizz, annie, are op and mordekaiser is braindead champion, who requiers no skill and is broken beyond belief. This experience from my smurf.

I could probably find a picture with 15 wins in a row with Rengar or Shaco who I used to main...

Yeah, but this is from someone in elo hell that had a negative win rate.

Yeah, but this is from someone in elo hell that had a negative win rate.

I had 80% win rate with Rengar in plat 60 % with Udyr, 75 % with nasus and leona and only about 50-60% with others. This doesn't mean much, the champion might fit hes play style.

Talking about balance here not personal enjoyment.

Talking about balance here not personal enjoyment.

The reason why Riot renamed this place from 'Gameplay & Balance' to just 'Gameplay' is because they wanted to discourage people talking about balance because 99% of the threads and posts here were useless

He's still only 52% in Platinum and up according to champion.gg.

This typically indicates that there is sufficient counterplay to a champion but that lower ELO players may not be know or be capable of it.

riot - lets give xin a heal based on AD as well, and lets have every 3rd Auto crit too...

he already was decent, albeit a one trick pony, now it's just overbearing how bad it is.

WolfChases1 votes

I don't see any difference honestly, win rate might be UP due to massive amount or players playing him post buff to see how it works but I haven't seen any overfed unkillable Xin in my games since he got buffed. Actually, I feel he is the same as he was, snowbally if he gets ahead or completely annihilated if he falls behind.
