What if Devourer used the old Conservation mechanic?

Passive: UNIQUE - CONSERVATION: You generate Conservation stacks every 1.5 seconds, up to 80. Killing a large monster will consume up to 40 stacks and grant 1 bonus gold per stack consumed.

What if Devourer's passive was reworked to work similarly to this? Instead of gaining a stack every time you kill a camp, you instead passively generate stacks over time and consume them whenever you get a champion or large monster kill.

EDIT: I did not mean Devourer gets extra gold every time you kill a monster, I mean very specifically the damage part of its passive being reworked to act similarly to Conservation. Instead of bonus gold every time you consume these "conservation" stacks, I mean you get bonus damage per conservation.

I mean, think of it like this:

  • Because you are still technically getting stacks even while you're not killing camps, it better encourages Junglers to help their teammates for ganks and objectives while still not wasting the Jungler's time to farm and scale their Devourer.
  • Because stacks are now a direct function of time and not the result of how well a given Devourer champion clears, it's much easier for the balance team to balance (and avoid the fiasco that was the overnerf in response to WW being too strong).

I mean to me, it looks like a win win, players get better experience with Devourer Junglers and the Balance Team doesn't have to overreact to Devourer abuse as much.

I'm pretty sure junglers make more gold AFK farming the jungle now than last season due to the 30 extra gold from each camp. At least, when I play fast clearing junglers like Malzahar I usually have the most gold in the game. I think giving devourer more gold gen is ridiculous.

Oh shit is that why I got down voted.

No no no I meant reworked to devourer stacks, not gold stacks. Better fix that.
