ADCs, Tristana, in Top Lane

Okay....are we really just okay wtih ADCs being more powerful in lane early on against fighters AND also more powerful later on too?

Furthermore, Tristana's mobility is pretty stupid....fire from afar, jump away if it goes south....then jump back towards if it going well again....you cant 1v1 her because she jumps away....and its a huge god damn jump too.

Any champion that is stronger in lane against most match ups early should not also be stronger late game too. Its so god damn retarded.

i think it depends who youre playing. similar to vayne, tristana has a kit that is stacked against melees.

if she makes it to lvl 6, its going to be impossible to deal with her on your own.

where youre playing a champion matters far less than the matchup youre in.

Except no one goes AD Top Tristana unless faced against a squishier opponent like Riven. Going against Darius, the most AD you'll go is Hybrid build and that's assuming you decide to do item 3115 or item 3100 . Otherwise, always AP.

I play as the top lane adc. And I might be winning my lane and then the jungler comes because Im free food and I end up 0/3.

thats a strategic mistake you dont have to make, and you know that damn well.

you have the inherent advantage in your lane. if you time your plays on your opponent with the appearance of the enemy jungler on other parts of the map, you wont get caught.

this lol 101, and has nothing to do with top lane adc in particular.

im not sure if youre trolling, or if youre just terrible at the game. baiting darius into pushing lane and into ganks is usually one of the easiest ways to beat him.

It depends on the adc. Most of them are garbage top against a halfway competent jungler.

but i can see tristana being possible just due to her mobility and disengage ult past level 5. peopel make fun of top lane adc as if this was never tried and successful before.

most top lane adc are garbage, because the players are garbage, but theyre not hard to pull off, if youre not an idiot who constantly pushes minion waves, doesnt ward and gets baited into jungle ganks.

infact, most adc mains in general are garbage. thats why youll constantly read about them complaining that theyre too weak.

i played against both types of players. if the guy playing the adc is halfway competent himself, they can be impossible to deal with on certain champions due to their inherent mobility and range advantage.

like i said, it all depends on the matchup.

Trist is slightly over the average line... Meaning she's slightly op. Her q attack speed bonus is about 50% more than other adcs like MF and DRaven, and lasts twice as long. Her bomb should not reset the jump cd, cause if u get a full detonation (which is ez with 150% bonus A.S.) u get a free cast of a 20s CD skill, and her ults knockback is like 75% of the lane, meaning u can knock them to ur turret and melt them easily. Lategame, she gets the 120-160% AS boost and basically four shots u with crits and bombs.... All in like 0.5s.

As a Tristana main, I can say that this is only somewhat true against Champs like Sion, Riven, or Tryndamere. Forbid going against Nautilus, Xin Zhao, Olaf, or Jax though. Tristana's kit makes her have a less-than-optimal Early Game until she snowballs, and she's made to be a Late Game Hypercarry for a reason. One thing you can do against her is make her use her W, then either move in and/or signal your Jungler to gank. A smart Trist player would stay back and avoid the Gank because her only Escape (until Level 6) is on cooldown, but if she stays to get CS you can punish her. Especially if she likes spamming her Es, since then her only harass option is her Q which only increases her Attack Speed if you go in after she uses it. Tristana is made to be a Champ that looks for opportunities and deals large amounts of damages in those moments of weakness in your part, but once she moves in you can take advantage of this and hit back if she's in the wrong spot. Also remember that her W only resets its cooldown when 1) she kills or assists in a kill on an opponent Champ, or 2) she detonates a fully-charged Explosive Charge on an opponent Champ. If she's trying to get all the stacks of her E on you, you can move in and either damage her or make her W out of there. Also, pay attention to how she builds. If she's going AD she'll either go with Life Steal or Crit Chance, so build to punish her auto attacks and put on Randuin's Omen if she's going Crit; if she's going AP she won't deal much damage with her auto attacks, so go Magic Resist (likely with Zhonya's) and have your team shut her down so she can't snowball. If she's going Hybrid, she's likely going Nashor's Tooth first, so you can take advantage of this by harassing her lane and denying her minions.
