3.3k HP, 211 MR, and enemy Ahri and Morde can instakill me through a BV. This is the final straw for me. I'm fucking sick of having no meaningful defense against AP comps. I don't give a shit about a new 120 AP item for the poor wittle mages. Give tanks meaningful MR items. Hexdrinker/BV/SV is not enough.
Okay. First off.. If ANYBODY is fed, they're going to tear through your defenses. I've never had problems with Ahri unless she's fed and I don't even play Tanks.
Are you sure it was the AP that killed you and not the 300+ true damage from ignite?
If you build no offense and focus only defense, you are just a fat turkey for everyone to roast. As a Nasus player I like to build something like this...

armour items ? lastwhisper ? comboed with youmu on top of it and those who dont want those items deal magic damage or have built in arpen
thornmail? lack of meaningfull defense vs ap will wreck you
banshe ? 40 sec cd just to block a skill that has 4 seconds cd
its not that ap is overpowered, riot just guts defense overall for the sake of lcs big money
the only defense they aprove is dodging bullets matrix style
OP is whining about Morde lol.
If the enemy had double AP, you probably should have gotten Locket of the Iron Solari to help your team.
In addition, Mordekaiser and Ahri both got early kills in their lanes, which helped them snowball ahead of you even when your team had early game champions (Pantheon and Leblanc) against them. Basically, they scaled better and got on early lead.
