In all the hype about lee sin, we forgot about kassawin
Kassadin, as im sure you all know, has seen a huge comeback. he isn't as popular as he was initially, but he is still very popular. I would like to touch up on a few points that I think make him a big problem right now.
-
he has too much defensive capability - one does not need a passive that ignores 15% of magic dmg and lets you walk through units AND a shield that basically steals your hp for a shield (also for magic damage). Then he has a very large slow on his e and his ult has a rather long range and, once you get it past rank one, a relatively low cooldown - ridiculously low once you get cdr and hit lvl 16, which brings me to a big problem with his defensive capabilities. a kassadin at lvl 16 who has a decent amount of cdr can ult in, assassinate someone squishy, zhonyas, and ult out without ever losing more than a little hp.

his ranges are too long - his q range is 650, his w gives him 50 bonus auto range on activation, and his e and ult have 700 range. that means his q range is equal to caitlyns auto range and almost as long as tristanas lvl 18 auto range. considering that he is supposed to be VERY weak early game, these give him too much free poke. even late game these shouldn't be necessary because he can already ult in range. between his ult and e right now he can hit you starting from 1400 units away - the ultimate hyperzoning.
-
his w should restore less mana on champion auto's - double is all it needs to be, MAYBE a little more. 40% of missing mana gives that free poke some backup once he hits lvl 6.
edit: just saw the pbe changes to kassadin, and i think they're going about it all wrong. its his normal abilities that need reduced range if anything. if they want to nerf his ult, give it another second cooldown. he is supposed to have a huge power spike level 6, not a tiny one
