I just picked up my favorite zyra skin and would love to main her mid, but how far would i get?

I know there are stronger picks in the mid lane but i really enjoy zyras whole theme so was wondering from anyone with mid / zyra experience how it'd be to take her there?

I currently main adc so id like to be puting mid as secondary

It's not a Question of how far. It's a Question of if you posses the will and determination to go as far as needed

i mean its fine, haha. if you can play her adequately shes nod bad at all, she'll usually have the most dmg by the time the game is done if you play her adequately (even as support)

Basically play her like you would Heimer mid. Stay farther back, poke down the enemy when possible from a safe distance. You'll be very very squishy to assassins so it's important to dodge any bit of damage you can, especially those skill shots from Ahri and Fizz. But remember, counters don't exist if you play your champ the best you can c:

mid zyra is an old pick. people would solo climb with her to high rankings when she came out. if you play her enough in normal games then you should be able to take her into ranked. all you got to know is how to player her in the lane, she is very similar to Oriana

Zyra was the first champion I had ever bought, and at first I wasn't really good at landing skill shots. I played her in support only, until I got autofilled into mid (who knows what the chances are of that lol). Since I never really play mid, I just took Zyra, and it honestly just felt insane with all the burst damage that she has. Just remember she doesn't have that much mobility and she's squishy, making you one of the main targets for assasins. If you land your combo (I personally like the E-Q-W-AA-R) you should be able to kill them. Roaming is a little slow (because of the mobility) but it's the same gist, land your e and qw to get a load of dmg off. Also, do NOT play this against a Yasuo (he can avoid your skill shots easily).
