so ive been playing lulu ive noticed a huge clunkiness to her kit, i was wondering if the whimsy ability does it take time to reach the target or is it instant cast . Also when playing against kayn he can cast ulty while in polymorph form. but mainly im more concernerd on why all of her abilities fizzle alot and dont cast when your in range of champions.
Polymorph is a projectile, so it can be avoided by Yasuo W, Yi Q, etc. Whimsy (on allies) is instant and unblockable though. There are also some effects that persist through polymorph, like Garen's E or any of the empowered autos. Kayn shouldn't be able to cast ult in polymorph though... I'd watch it again.
I know this matchup well. Kayn’s Ult has a extremely long animation, and that animation cannot be canceled by any means. He still gets effected by your polymorph, but he is inside the enemy already.
So if he comes out instantly (like he shouldn’t) he will come out polymorphed, but he can just stay in for the duration and the debuff will fall off.
It’s weird. Bleeds, ignite and any form of cc or debuff do the same thing.
It has ups and downs.
