this is basically a big fuck you to everyone in the game.

what the fuck kind of nerf is that.

do you realize just how busted this champ is and this is how you respond?

i dont fuckign comprehend the logic of anyone on the balance team anymore.

we realize ivern is incredibly disgustingly strong and is SUPER easy to play and has infinite shields and cc, SO , we will make it so he can only bush 1 objective.

have mercy on your playerbase please.

Riot's design philosophy includes attacking champions in such ways where they tone down their strengths slightly, then attack the champion by getting rid of the other stuff in their kit to expose weaknesses. For example, Jhin got slight damage nerfs, then he lost .25 seconds on his ultimate, and while it may seem like that is small, it actually exposed a weakness because now it is harder to land an ultimate.

ok how does the bush nerf help playing vs him when hes constantly shielding and ccing someone ?

If he's constantly shielding and cc'ing someone, then the bush nerf will be meaningless since shielding and cc'ing are his strengths. However, the bush nerf will open up more windows for you to take advantage of him.

no one cared about that as much as they did his ability to make someone unkillable as well as perma cc.

This is another case of "Balancing for the LCS." Only this time, the nerfed him in a way that actually targeted that level of play specifically. (too many LCS teams hide Baron in Brush, Preventing the enemy from seeing the Barons Health)

Besides, I'm willing to bet that he's suppose to be healing/shielding someone. they don't want to target something that he was intended to do, that would be a stomp in his face.
