Voice Chat Is Going to Change the Way We Play LOL

As a support main I'm going to use the hell out of this feature if it's implemented. There's a massive difference between playing with an adc who knows what I can do, and playing with one who doesn't.

Last game I started a dive that my adc didn't follow up on. The nautilus I dived walked away with 50 hp while I tanked 3 turret shots (those are just the ones i counted while standing just inside tower range so my adc could get the kill). One or two autos from my adc would've secured the kill but my adc didn't know that I was capable of doing so much damage to a nautilus and tanking so many shots. She thought I was trolling!

If I had voice chat in that game, then that dive would've been a success. There are so many situations like this in every game that the pros of having voice chat far outweigh the cons. Voice chat is going to help bot lane so much, not to mention junglers, roaming mid laners, or even splitting top laners. I'm excited for this feature!

I'm going to be so triggered when I ask my adc to use his trinket and he tells me "ward" "no man, what I'm trying to say is that I've used my trinket up and you have 2 charges, if we're going to keep pressuring I need you to use those." adc: "get sightstone" me: "well thats like 800gold and I havent made that yet but I shouldnt have to rush it if you can just use your trinket" adc: "what are you saying?" -gets ganked- "omg no vision, this supp is trolling"

But yea, as a Soraka player I don;t wanna see my adc flashing away from people we can kill. Legit I have ult, heal, w... why is Jhin zoning you and did you just flash?? I just ran jhin down and showed this bitch I CAN HEAL! then my Xayah walks up n finishes him, like "so now why were you leting him zone you?"

I really hope it's easy to detect who is screaming "OMG NOOBS HELP ME!!!!"

I played smite, they have voice, occasionally you get a support who actually uses it. Just as often some big gay Al soundin dude screams that shit. Like, who was that? I need to mute so I dont get screamed in my ear again.

Lol I'm going to instamute those adcs. Mute is definitely going to be a feature if they implement voice chat.

I'm sure there will be a sound icon that lights up or a glow around their portrait when they talk but sometimes I dont catch it fast enough or 2 people are talking so idk how they will make it clear who is being obnoxious. But yea, it prolly will be better than smite on ps4 when it 1st came out, people had no idea what was going on lol.

Those games where people are calmly helping shot call, handing out praise, and telling jokes will make all of it worth ;)

Voice Chat is going to change how many people play because there are going to be more bans for "Lack of communication" if you don't use a mic.

Do you really think riot will hand out bans for not using a mic?

Yes because the system is automated, if enough people report you for the same thing in 1 match you're auto-banned. The only time a rioter gets involved is when you submit a ticket telling them there was some mistake. I think it has to be at least 7+ people from the match though.

"if enough people report you for the same thing in 1 match you're auto-banned." False. Even nine reports from one game is the same as one report from one game.

Not only that but riot has already started voice chat will be opt-in only. Meaning it won't be required. So no, nobody will be banned for not using voice chat.

It's not getting implemented for an incredibly long time (at least 6-8 months if not a year or more) so don't get your hopes up.

They're talking about it which is a step in the right direction for a team game.
