Of course you can't tank, you have 500 armor. Reduce that to 300, get some health and damage, and try again.

Sounds like you stacked thornmails and has just your base health.

Maybe don't spend all your gold on Thornmails and no health then.

Even then, Vayne would be doing 16.66% of her normal damage (in normal terms she needs 6x as much physical damage to kill you) and would still need to be autoattacking you for over 12 seconds straight for her true damage to be even close to fatal. If Vayne can autoattack a tank for 12 seconds straight, either that tank lost the teamfight very badly or that tank was massively out of position: either way they would die to anyone else.

Yasuo has 50% bonus armor penetration. Assuming you have 90 flat armor, that means he ignores 205 armor. He still needs to do ~4x normal damage to kill you, and even with 'free' crit he would have to focus a tank for 5+ seconds. Which repeats the same problem Vayne had in that either the tank lost a teamfight or is out of position bad.

500 armor is very doable on malphite, and you get health too, you also get E + Q to literally render them completely useless, no movement speed and no attackspeed. Don't worry you can gapclose with R to make sure you land it on them.

I hope you don't think 500 armor means you can sit there and hope you out DPS them. They have damage, you have tank stats. You're supposed to soak up damage so your team can fight them. Not sit there and win by buying tank stats.
