She's a tanky mobile assassin. You can't itemize against her physical, magical, and true damage. You can't run away from her high base MS, gap closer, and trinity force. You can't lock her down because of her free tenacity. You can't burst her because she builds pure tank after 2 offensive items. You can't harass her out of lane because she has built-in sustain. Playing against Irelia feels like complete horse-shit.

Rain NT1 votesThen everyone that face her is bad, I main irelia.. and I can tell you, she is beatable if you learn how to play her and learn all the timing when she isnt strong.

However since she's a bruiser, she shares all the weaknesses of that class.
Rain NT1 votesAnyone with attack speed slow or a way to avoid her AA or tankier then her while doing damage can beat her. Like Nasus mid game, Trundle at level 6-7, Malphite early or if hes snowball, Wukong early, Darius, Lee if you know how to play it right and build correctly, Shyvana early.
Items that can beat her is few, HP to negate her Truedamage, Armor to negate her physical damage (which she does way more than magic damage/Sheen proc) and Attack speed slow.. and guess what we do and its called Randiun, the biggest slap to Irelia. Either than that, do damage and somehow avoid her when she activate her W.
OH RIGHT AND JAX, okay he might have some problem early.. but ITS A FOR SURE WIN after 20 mins. You can go 1-3 with Jax and just get 2 items and beat Irelia with 3 items
