So I would like to have someone clarify if there is a single con to using rivens shield all the time. Shes mana-less, has fairly short cooldowns, and to top it off her q is and extra escape should e be on cooldown. Therefore why should a manaless champ have a shield spamming ability that scales with 100% ad. How is this healthy for a game dominated by mana champs. No funny pointless reasons I want a good thought through comment. Thanks.
Because the game also has blue buff, ranged characters, cc and Lee Sin.

I think Riven's lack of sustain apparently justifies it she cant be taking too much damage cuz it sticks to her
The only reason I have to using her E all the time, is you need to treat her E like 2 kinds of spells. Its a dash and a shield. You decide what you need more of at the moment. If you want to gap close you E for the dash not the shield, if you are dying, you E for the Shield and not the dash. If you always keep your shield up, you do not have a gap closer. Her Q is an extra dash but its mini dashes over time. You cant instantly get somewhere like E. Sometimes spamming E is bad because an enemy jungler could be somewhere near ready to pounce. But if you know where the enemy jungler is and cant die to the enemy laner, spamming E isn't that big of a deal because you wont need the dash.
