We are now enabling premade limiter 1,2,3 for Diamond 5 and above in NA.

We're are also adjusting autofill to require a longer estimated queue time.

Ah, so you're able to restrict the number of people queuing up after all...funny how you mentioned the old system wouldn't work...then this happens. I don't know whether to question your intelligence or question your motives during this whole fiasco.

You can't fix something that was built broken - not that you care anyway. This is your precious baby and you mean to fight tooth and nail to defend it. Fine, but just some food for thought; if you really mean to improve the system, you would decrease that limiter to a max of 2.

But wait, would that make it just like the old system? Huh, I suppose it does. Maybe you should do that instead, but for all elos.

Edit: Look, it's like trying to replace an old window. The one we had was old, yes, it got stuck sometimes when we tried to open and close it, it was rather plain with nothing going on about it, but it worked. What is Dynamic? It's like you thought that the window was too plain, too boring, and otherwise too unappealing when you have an idea for something better suited for the room it's in as you renovate the inside (much to a lot of our dismay.)

Instead of going out and picking something that works well, you decide "hey, we're gonna make our own!" You begin smashing different colored glass to make a stain-glass window for this "improved" room. You realize quickly, that you're not prepared for this type of job, and in a flash, you have the idea to use glue and tape to hold the shattered pieces together.

The result is an abomination. It keeps the draft out for the most part, sure, but it looks like a fucking monstrosity, and you're confused as to why people don't like it. The next solution to try and fix this is to take out some of the smaller, flimsier pieces, and replace them with larger ones. It's improved the quality, it makes it better to look at, but better does not equal pleasant. After all the work you've put into trying to make this look nice, wouldn't it be an easier task and a more efficient strategy to just put the old window back in?

I'm gonna guess Riot's thinking process here, step by step.

People would feel better if they always got the role they wanted. Being forced to play a role you're bad at sucks.
Team Builder ranked would be a good idea
But wait, that's not possible, queue times for popular roles would be absurd
Okay, so we make it two roles, that will surely do the job
Hmmmm... we need a lot of people to play this for better matchmaking
This ought to be miles better than the current ranked, let's merge those two
But some people played Team Builder in premades... Allowing premades should increase the playerbase of this new queue
Solo Queue, Team Builder, Ranked 5v5... Well, if that's not enough people, we'll nuke Twisted Treeline
Okay now they're gonna LOVE THIS SHIT

How is this going to effect the Challenger Series (and LCS by extension)? Ranked 5 is no more, and you can't queue with 5 in Diamond 5+, so where are next years teams going to come from?

Is citing a graphic that pre-dates Dynamic Queue, the removal of 5v5 Ranked Teams, and the most recent removal of 5-man premades in Diamond+ helpful?

From the page that you pulled the graphic from, there's a certain requirement:

Hold an active Solo Queue ranking of at least Diamond 3 to participate in the tournament

There's no Solo Queue, so that's at least one piece of information that's out-dated now.

then why everyone comments are like "good job" or "terrible job"? i'm just like them i comment on what they did and they did terrible indeed. They should disable dynamic queue in diamond that's ALL. dynamic queue is supposed to makes low elo wanting to play ranked more with their friends

diamond players don't need dynamic garbage and it would reduce boosting and not making it legal

Premade 3s of high-level teams will still have a huge advantage over solos and duos at high tiers. Make it solo-duo

Lower tiers are still dissatisfied. Reinstate across all tiers.

Ah yes, the "Riot is so kind and generous as to give us the privilege of playing their game, so just accept whatever comes out of their ass and be thankful for it" brand of apologism, bundled together with the classic "You're not allowed to complain about anything unless you're one of the people in charge of fixing it". This is the absolute worst kind of apologism.

That's not how this works, and that's not how the world works. It's not our job to take whatever Riot wants to give us. Riot is a company and League of Legends is their product. If their customers are unhappy / unsatisfied with the way Riot is managing and developing the product, its the customers job to let them know and its Riot's job to fix it. With a game as big and popular as League, they can get away with pushing an unwanted change or feature past us every once in a while, but if they consistently ignore their customers and pursue design decisions that directly contradict what the vast majority of players want then they are going to drive this game right into the ground and kill it. And that's exactly what they're doing right now.

Remember Runescape? Remember WoW? Unlike you, most people don't just roll over and take the garbage that they're given, they get fed up and leave. More unhappy players = less paying customers. The longer they continue to manage things like this, the worse their reputation and public image is going to be, and the more players they'll lose.

For fucks sake, Riot does not deserve a fucking consolation prize just because you think "they're trying their best" (Hint: They're not!).

So for Diamond+ you are removing the system you were so exited and proud of. Because it failed, Both of the parts of the system are now gone, 5 teams and choosing your 2 roles, how about this system that everyone has now realized that it failed gets turned off, and we get the solo queue that we wan't.

Autofill seems like a completely terrible idea to force on someone. If someone queues up for the roles they can play at the level they need for their ELO, and you push them into a role they can't you're making them have less fun at the same time as nearly forcing a loss onto them. That's bad design for a non-opt-in feature.

i'm from euw but there is 1 thing i don't get... i'm ok with the autofill, the oldQ system worked with that fine except rare cases but that's my question... let's say in the old Q you started and ask for your role if you were a 1tricky pony or for some roles you could fill and still play without being horrible at it. Everyone (all the 10 players) had the same coin flip of going in their main role as in their worst role. Now i don't understand the new auto fill... so if you are unlucky now you go in a role you can't play vs your enemy that is in his primary role?? if you make the system a coin flip as it was before make it EVEN. It is even if everyone has the same chance of randomly doing/getting something you are making the new system as a luck system. Hey you got lucky you got your main role 10/10 hey you are unlucky you are the only one who does always autofill enjoy your experience have fun here!.

The dynamic queue cash grab to try to get random casual normal players (so they buy more skins etc.) at the expense of ranked integrity and meaning behind the borders isn't going to be supported just by doing this.
