The term “overloaded” is being thrown around quite a bit.

I am seeing this term a lot these days, thrown in any and all faces of champions everywhere. Usually, I can try to see why, along with steer it to champs that deserve it. But those champs are more difficult to use than other champs that only use one brain cell, and can still perform better than your so-called OP champions you were complaining about. There is a clear difference in skill floor between a Garen and an Irelia, or an Annie versus an Akali. Save the overloaded comments for the ones who deserve it and learn to play them. You might feel enlightened doing so.

Riven Overloaded? what does that mean?

It means you have a mini dash, a stun, a shield, no mana pool to deal with, a Q that has 3 uses, the third letting you jump over walls, and a ultimate that not only gives you tons of damage but has a long range execute. On top of this you move just as fast as an udyr. Oh i also forgot, her 3rd Q also does a mini stun as well and does aoe damage. All she's missing is built in sustain.

Go play Yi or Tryn or Yorick or literally any other "1 brain cell" champion in any high elo game and tell me how it goes

To be honest at this point it is harder to find success with them compared to the "riot approved" champions that just stay broken forever and have kits that are never bad into any matchup since they can do everything on their own.

Overloaded champs are overloaded, doesn't matter how high their skill-floor is. Once learned the floor no longer matters, you don't balance around the floor just like you shouldn't balance around Iron 4.

But you should balance around silver/gold, or whatever rank has the most players. Noone will like the lcs if its ruining the game even more every single. year.

I still not see the point in balancing for the tippedy top 0.02% of the players. The most Players are in silver, and you should always try to make the biggest part of your communitiy happy. Again, Riot doesnt win anything , if all except the 1% "high elo" players leave the game, u wont be able to. play it anymore, riot will have to close. sadly exaclty that is what we can expect for season 9 if there wont be massive changes. Just watch LoLs playerbase / playrate shrinking with every patch :)

I always like to grossly misrepresent Soraka when people are throwing overloaded around.

Shes got a Long range aoe poke, with a slow, that also gives her Hp regin, and Ms, and empowers her W for more healing and to give MS. A several hundred + HP Heal on a 2 second CD. Aoe instant silence that transforms into a root. With Stupid high base damage and Good scaling. (no joke both parts of it hit for a total of 460 (+ 80%) damage.) Her R is global and instant cast getting her free assist gold all game. Save lifes, Win duels, any where on the map. oh and her passive gives her 70% Ms speed steroid to position where she is needed most in fights.

Overloaded and braindead! what a OP Champ! Must be dominating the ladder with this overloaded kit.
