Nasus : Nerf his mid game, buff his late game.

Nasus is a very strong champion(obviously). So when it is almost impossible to stop him from farming his Q anyway, shouldn't it not be overpowered mid game? Then late game however, he completely falls off and can barely 2v1. I think Nasus should be nerfed during his mid game so he can 1v3 if he is fed and not be able to 1v5. Then his late game should be buffed so he can actually do something besides split push. In a teamfight, he is literally a 3.5 k health support. In 2 seconds he dies to any carry even if they don't have Last Whisper or Void Staff (respectively).

This probably would be good for both Nasus and his team and the opposing team. You probably could do any of the following to his mid game:

1.(Highly unrecommended, but possible) Make him gain 2 stacks per Q instead of 3. 2.(Maybe not the first part, but the second) Have his passive scale off his level to cap higher at level 18, but be lower or the same earlier (Helps with his late game too) and reduce the armor penetration on his E. 3.Increase his R power while tuning down his W and E, or make his W and E stronger when ulted and weaker when not. 4.Any other possible option.

Late game would probably be easier. Probably just give him bonus armor and/or magic resist when he ults. Maybe give his Q at rank 3 of his R armor penetration while ulting. I just think Nasus is too weak for teamfights late game. His tower pushing though is OP so the it would be best to not affect his Q that much.

His late game does NOT need a buff. If you allow a Nasus to get to late game its going to be a bad time for the enemy team.

I don't know what rock you've been living under, but Nasus is by no means squishy.

Because he is a stack-based champion, he can build full tank and still do a lot of damage simply by having a lot of Siphoning Strike stacks.

Although he's basically a troll pick though, because you rely on your team to 4v5 for 45 minutes, at which point you solo their team and end the game.

Well he is extremely squishy late game so if he can't get in range to Q he dies uselessly. That's the point. One quick snare and he is gone unless he flashes or ults.

Nasus late game is the only champ that can build straight tank and do assassin-level damage. He isn't squishy, in fact he can win any duel with any opponent.

He however is easy to kite, so if you keep him CC'ed you can kill him without too much trouble.

But isn't that the purpose of the tank? Using all your CC on Nasus means you won't have any left for his team once they come in 3 seconds later.

Nasus is a late game monster.

And you can shut down his early and mid game and Q farm completely just by setting up a freeze near your turrent and leaving it there, even if it means calling in jungler to hold your lane while you go buy and keep it frozen. Nasus is like, the easiest champion ever to keep out of the mid game with almost any champion. All you have to do is deny his farm through freezing. Just make sure you get all the enemy minion aggro, then drag them towards a bush until they clump up, then hop into a bush. The enemy minions will focus on one of yours, and push to your tower and Nasus can't reset without using a lot of his mana and pushing up really far, allowing a easy gank + reset + new freeze.

And with 3.5k health, frozen heart, wither, he's basically anathema to ADCs. He slows attack and movement speed with wither then can use Q twice and remove an ADC. As for APC as long as he Ults he can survive most bursts. Nerfing his mid game and buffing his late game would just make Nasus stronger for his designated purpose, aka being a late game powerhouse of incredible proportions.

Nasus is a late game monster, literal Raid Boss

He is no where near squishy if he has been building Tank and his Damage is OFF THE CHARTS

I agree on weakening his early game tho

I have never seen a Nasus not die instantly late game. I have only seen them do good mid game. So sorry since I've seen Nasus 50+ games and not once have they been tanky late game.

It could just be your ELO and most people wanting to do all the damages possible even if they are 0/5/0. Most Nasus players build extremely tanky with only one offensive item in a trinity force, or no offensive item and a gauntlet. It's not uncommon for Nasus to 1v5 an entire team and end up with a quadra or penta kill late game.

Are you saying I'm bad? I started game in May 2014 and while leveling up it happened too. Not just now. Do you really think I'm in Bronze 5 and been there for years watching people be stupid?

DMouseslayer1 votes

Not really. I assumed you were like me and in that fun part where your placed against high bronze to mid silvers and get players who just turned level 30 to people playing for a long time. I get games where a person feeds and still tries to build damage even when they are behind. The fact that you've never seen a tanky nasus or a late game terrifying nasus probably placed you in the same place where I am, and I've only really seen one tanky nasus player who knew what they were doing that wasn't me. A lot build squishy or never Q farm. I've also seen 45 minute Nasus's with 132 stacks.

But hey, if you're diamond or master and have never seen a tanky Nasus then sorry. I usually only see either tanky ones or horrible ones. Squishy Nasus just seems dumb as he has no escapes beyond flash/ghost. I would have assumed Diamond and Master ranked players would have thought of that.

Someone doesn't read what I say. What are the odds that out of 50+ games not a single one knows how to play Nasus? Even my brother who gets 800 stacks by 30 minutes dies instantly late game. Unless you are backdooring or split pushing, you are useless. And the cc comment. Late game you just need a good slow and he is gone. Rito was stupid when making tanks as they ALL are only good mid game.

I think the phenomenon you're seeing is due to the fact that damage scales better than tank, which is intentional: it should be impossible not to take heavy damage from a full-build ADC, or so Riot thinks. Due to this fact, Nasus takes damage even if he builds 4 tank items. That said, I don't think there's a problem. He can duel just about anyone. Wither's uptime gets to be damn near 90%, which makes kiting him bearable, and his other skills are designed to get him to survive the kite and apply ugly death at the end of it.

I never will get out of Bronze 2 this season since all people do is complain that I'm not helping them after they fed. Last season I was demoted to silver 4 the same way. Every Nasus I see does build tanky, except they still get obliterated. Even mid game, except the thing is mid game he is a tank so nobody focuses him, but he is doing all the work. Late game he is just like every other tank and is completely useless due to Last Whisper and Void Staff. Every Nasus I see gets farm because nobody knows how to stop him early game which leads to his mid game dominance. Maybe if Riot nerfed his early Q damage so that when you try to stop Nasus from farming he 3 shots you, then he wouldn't be good mid game. Then that would allow for late game buffs.

I did read what you say and its bronze level B.S. If your brother has 800 stacks why is he building damage like a moron. Stacks don't make you tanky they make it so you can deal carry level damage while building durability, and advantage you completely negate by building improperly. Nasus isn't a tank, he's a bruiser, and when built properly he does enormous amounts of damage while being very, very hard to kill. If you have a Nasus in your game "that's melting instantly" that nasus is bad, and is building damage on top of damage rather than building a tank build in order to be able to inflict his rather high (when stacked) innate damage.
