Riots idea of "Balance"

Janna is op because non stop shields that give 80 ad and an ult that can heal your healthbar twice over as an ad? Better nerf her w!

Ardent is op? Let's buff it early game!

Seriously wtf... I can't think of a logical reason as to why they even bothered with these changes? Are they happy with Janna/jinx/trist/trist being pick/ban or you lose the game?
