Should there be a support champion with great turret killing ability?

Someone that has his/her/its kit with an ability to damage turrets decently. Kinda like what Azir's W was.

There could be a support champion who enables teammates to better kill turrets or siege, but not a support that does it well alone.

item 3504 Janna while shielding the adc Janna shields the target allied champion or herself for 5 seconds, granting her target bonus attack damage while the shield holds. BONUS AD: 10 / 17.5 / 25 / 32.5 / 40 (+ 10% AP)

so the adc gets more on hit damage with ardent + the bonus ad damage from janna shield

Isn't Ziggs played as a bot-lane carry...? He doesn't seem to have a supportive kit...

his poke with Q ... his aoe zone and slow with E and his knock back with W

Still, neither of them are traditional supports which is what I was kind of getting at. A champion that enables their allies to better kill turrets without using ardent censor. Ziggs would just do it himself. Not really what I was talking about earlier:

what is a traditional support?

Annie ? ? Fiddlesticks ? Galio ? Gragas ? Karma ? Lux ? Malzahar ? Morgana ? Nautilus ? Leona ? Shen ? Sion ? Taliyah ? Trundle ? Veigar ? Velkoz ? Zyra ? Maokai ?

all of these champs are or were primarily another role and due to meta shifts and changes found themselves at support
most were mid lane mages ... naut was a jungler leona was upon release a fighter same as blitz but got adopted into support for "kill "lanes

I know what you're saying and you're not wrong, my whole point here is that it would be cool if Riot made an intentional support designed to enable allies to siege (like, for example, allowing bot lane melees to siege more effectively? Maybe?).

A suppose a better way to put it would be that it would be cool to see an offensive version of Janna, a traditional support that's more focused on aggressive play by enchanting rather than engaging by themself (Leona, Thresh, etc).

yea leona hasnt really had any changes to her kit in terms of passive or abilities that im aware of.

but what are talking about as a siege type of support ( or an AD SCALING SUPPORT) would be they would quickly be taken from support played else where cuz typically supports kits are high base damages or high utility cuz they dont build damage or whatever in game they are made to be viable lacking damage items and gold income

so if a support type of champ could do bonus damage to turrets would clearly go ad and then play other roles/lanes then people would cry foul that they are broken /busted

No man, i want a support who can make other people do more damage.

Like, just spitballing here, imagine this: a support who could boost your aa range or damage against a turret, and increase your movement speed while in range of an enemy turret (if melee). Or something along those lines. Completely focused on increasing ally effectiveness.

If I wanted a support who could take towers on their lonesome, I'd just pick Ziggs.

and there are supports who give allies bonus damage on hit...

janna , lulu, nami, sona etc they are called enchanters

their kits with out item 3504 does this but the item empowers it more
