If ruby crystal builds to belt, shouldn't something build to needlessly large rod?

item 1058 is generally a very expensive item and it is irritating when you come back with 1400 gold and can't buy anything since u need item 1058 /want it. Since item 1011 was less expensive and had an item built in, it would make sense. Also, it would allow for someone to buy other items not oriented around item 1058 depending on what item you have built in. Just a suggestion. Same thing with item 1038. It is very expensive with very few item paths. a simple item 1036 or two could make up for this.

It works for defensive items because when you're getting smashed and can't stay in lane there should be a way for you to stop the bleeding. It's an anti-snowballing mechanism.

For offensive items, it'd just negate build paths, and their associated strengths and weaknesses, completely. If you got ahead in lane, you'd stay ahead.

It is to help lanes that are behind and early game for tanks. The whole point of the high cost for large rod and BF is that you need to save up for it.

Well if your ahead then what would it matter if you got B.F. Sword or Long Sword? You would either snowball or get ganked.

Additionally, how would it negate build paths? Name the amount of items B.F. Sword goes into? There is 4:item 3072, item 3139, item 3508, and item 3031 as it is the same as item 3104. Just a 5% crit chance difference.

You'd spam Long Sword and Amp tomes, combining them up as needed.

You wouldn't have the risk of saving up 1550g for a BFS, you'd just back and grab as many AD items as you could afford. Being 360g up would directly translate to more power, helping you snowball and extend your lead.

Right now you have to choose between earlier power (Pickaxe) or saving up for the bigger spike (BFS).
