-Hymn of Valor (Q) aura on hit magic damage AP ratio lowered to .2 from .25 -Aria of Perseverance (W) healing now [increased by .5% per 1% missing HP] from [1% per 1% missing HP]. -Aria of Perseverance (W) base heal increased to 30/50/70/90/110 from 25/45/65/85/105

even the pros called sona "nami light" so why nerf sona over nami?

and you guys say featured game modes dont affect balance decisions but Kat, rammus and sona (champions who were really strong.popular on hexakill) are all getting nerfed?

anybody wanna give some context behind why these nerfs are necessary?

Pros aren't always right. Sona has a ~54% win rate overall, while Nami has a 50%. Sona is still very strong. Good poke, heals and shield, a team speed boost, and a stun aoe. Nami may beat her out early game, but she provides more utility to her whole team with every ability instead of Nami's being one ally except ult. I've won most of my games with Sona support.

Rammus has amazing ganks and roaming power. He also has a ~54 win rate overall as well. The fact he has to get into melee range to do most of his stuff is made moot by powerball.

Katarina had her counters nerfed over time and was able to make a comeback since not as much champions could stop her ult at 6.
