Aatrox
Dark Trennow- "Aatrox. I love him. Top lane aatrox is so fun to play and he never gets old for me. He's such a badass with a living sword and his quotes inspire me."
Ahri
Ahris- "She was my first champ I ever loved when I first started playing this game. Her beauty and her amazingly fun kit made me extremely in love with her. Her kit has so much room to outplay anyone, including the entire enemy team. I for once 1v5 and got a quadra as ahri. Her room to outplay anyone and room to outplay her is amazing and I am extremely grateful Riot made such a amazing champ with this amazing design. I'm here hoping for ahri to get an ultimate skin at least D: <3333333333333333333333333"
Akali
Potatofaktman- "An Akali main here, I simply love her sticking potential mid to late game, just keep ulting to targets and whittling them down till I finally get the kill, get the reset, and continue/escape. Plus her invisibility shroud is so fun to juke people with, put it in an intersection when you're being chased by 2 or 3 people and suddenly they dont know what to do/where to go, some going one way and the others hovering over the shroud, make a snap decision and kill the squishy and die for it(or maybe even escape by flashing/jumping away) or toy with them by flashing /walking away sneakily into the fog of war and watch them get mad when the shroud disappears and you're no longer there! Been playing her since I accidentally bought her instead of ahri waaaay back when I was around lvl15-20 and I hope to continue playing her forever!! ftw!"
Alistar
noteventhatgood- "Being a support main, I've always liked the cow, and even before he went on his OP rampage toplane, I knew he was OP. His kit just has everything I love and look for in a support champion. CC, sustain, peel for your carry, and one of the best ultimates in the game if you know how to use it. It lets you build squishy but still have absurd tankiness in teamfights. You can even dive turrets at level 6 if one of their bot lane has recalled. Alistar is by far my favorite champion in the game and without a doubt going to be one of my top picks for long to come."
Amumu
Kolinichu- "I guess I started to play him for the fact that he was out of place... just as I was at the time... but together... we started to get the hang of it and look, I would consider myself now to be a good RTS player! (Maybe I should say MOBAs?)"
Anivia
WhiteyBOM- "Anivia - I love the big plays you can make on her. How you can throw down near constant CC and just blow people up. How you can hit some sneaky skill shots for the stun and turn a game around. And if you manage to use your wall in the correct fashion, how you can turn a team fight into your team vs 1 dude suddenly very alone."
Annie
Annie C Hastur- "Annie's the best! She was the first champion I ever bought. My first champion ever was Anivia but I never liked her as a mage because she didn't have the burst that I was used to from my int dota mains, SK and Lina. The main reason I actually bought Annie was because she reminded me of Nino from Fire Emblem 7, who in that game was a girl only a few years older than Annie that, if levelled (which was difficult because she joins extremely late at a low level), was a candidate for the strongest character in the game. Her only real weakness was her low constitution causing her to get reduced speed from tomes. Immediately after picking her up she was really my style in terms of just her raw, immediate power; you throw down your combo and it has a huge impact on the game. I recognized her potency in that regard from really early on and did not buy any other champions until level 14 where I picked up Katarina, but she never really replaced Annie. I hit Masters playing primarily Annie with hundreds of games as her, and excluding short periods where I jumped to champions like Ryze and Evelynn she's never really left the spotlight as my #1. Annie to me just feels like the best of all worlds, and although I can now play many champions at this level I sincerely doubt I would have ever rose in ELO at all, or possibly even kept playing the game if it weren't for her, and especially what being an Annie main teaches you about the game, because playing Annie gives you more control over the game than nearly any other champion, so long as you have the knowledge and mechanics to take control of it. She initiates well, counter initiates well, team fights well, duels well enough to split push, (Annie in 90%+ of games cannot be 1v1ed by anyone at most points of the game.) and despite her weaknesses has some really potent tools, particularly the instant stun, that allow her to overcome them. I never feel truly helpless playing her."
Ashe
Austin Covello- "Ashe is still my main, because she fits my style. She doesn't rely on abilities that much; just AA. Her crit chance is the highest in the game. With a full-offensive build, you can turn Ashe into a machine-gunner with enough power and CC to blow down a champion in three seconds. Every time I come here and read about how Ashe needs a rework because she's so useless and Tristana needs another nerf, I just laugh. I've never lost lane to a Tristana while using my Ashe, even before 4.13. People in this game really sell Ashe short. Once you make it to level 6 or even get a BF sword on her, she'll move mountains."
Azir
GoldenLeSpoink- "I am officially an Azir Main; I know what you are saying, but ever since I played him, he is my champion. I love how his abilities go to what his lore represents; a badass emperor who is ready to take back his land. He is easily underused because of "bugs" and people don't believe that he is really viable because his soldiers don't add On-hit effects. I can determine though, that Azir is probably the most broken champion as he can easily just destroy someone by doing so from far away. SHURIMIA AWAITS"
Blitzcrank
TheMormonator- "I enjoy and claim the title of a Blitzcrank main. People claim that Thresh does everything that blitz crank but better so I've dedicated myself to being able to outplay any lane I am against and generally love his kit in general. There is nothing better than not only ruining someone's day with a good grab, but ruining a junglers day by taking buffs, and even cock blocking an enemy by pulling them away from your teammates. Love him."
Brand
Pyro- "Through my nick, this is pretty self-explanatory. My first RPG was Gothic (I highly recommend it, it's one of the best aRPGs ever made) and ever since then, i made fire magic my playstyle in every game possible. It's my way of approaching a video game every single time. Is there fire magic? If yes, then I play the fire mage. No exceptions. It's not exactly about pyromania - it's just about choosing a style and keeping to it. It's something that makes my gamer identity span throughout all titles."
Braum
SecretAgentHulk- "Tank and support are my two favorite roles, so I was excited about Braum ever since the champion reveal. No feeling (except maybe shroom triple kill while dead) beats jumping to an ally champion with a shield up to block Ashe's ult against a 200HP ally, then following up with ult and spamming Q to turn certain death into an ace. PUSH INHIB!"
Caitlyn
IEnchantedI- "She was my first adc and fourth champ that i bought and my 2nd skin that i got (officer Caitlyn woot!). I remember i only bought her because my close friend's name is Caitlin (no y in it). I remember practicing her in bots and normals a lot ( mistakes were made). I kept losing and everyone called me bad but i didn't care i just love her play style :). The day i got her is the day i got officer Caitlyn (yes i know i was stupid back then xD). I sorta gave up on becoming good at Cait because its always defeat. I took a break from her for 2 to 3 weeks then i remember adc was the only one left and i was like heck i'll play her so i ended up going 22-1-11 and i was so proud. From then on i started becoming better at her and now shes the one who got me into playing adcs. Today adc is one of my best role and im so glad i started playing her :) Love you Caitlyn! <3"
Cassiopeia
Veiled Sovereign- "I loved playing Cassiopeia, chasing people down with poison and twin fangs, and taking on the challenge of being squishy and immobile. Her lane bully style attracted me to her and I could choose to poke people down with q or max e and go all in. She was very fun and challenging became my main."*
Cho'Gath
Toa of Death- "Cho'Gath main. fully stacked at level 18 and leading the charge into the enemy base knowing i'm bigger than everyone else and soaking up tons of damage, the feeling I get is indescribable. When I first started League, I didn't really know who to play and I didn't know a lot about roles. Eventually, I found myself doing top lane a lot. I went through a few Top Laners like Garen and felt that they were just too much like a typical tank who does little damage. I wanted a champ that could be super tanky but do a good amount of damage to. Then, as I was scrolling through the shop looking for a new champ to buy, I found Cho. I read his lore and smiled at the "Woe betide the day when Cho'Gath grows weary of the League" quote. I bought him right then and there. I was a mere level 4 that day. Since then, Cho has carried me to 30, which I recently reached. Though this season is coming to an end, when season 5 starts, I will remind everyone why Cho'Gath is named The Terror of the Void. OMNOMNOMNOMNOM"
Corki
Nuxl- "Corki is a blast to play. Easy to pick up, but nobody really seems to play him. Whether it be insane burst damage with Q or heavy poke with R, this valkyrie-riding old man can do anything. Except have higher than 500 range and any real form of CC, but that doesn't harm him a lot. Missed him during S3, but lately he's been doing pretty good. Only champ I've ever bought a skin for, and he's my go-to for ADC forever."
Darius
Tough Guy- "Darius main, He symbolizes power and strength to me. He is tough to kill and tough to run from. He makes the opponent hesitant for just being in his presence and when they try to run he catches them with his Apprehend (w) and shows them what true strength is."
Diana
The Sage- "! Diana is in my opinion the best designed champion visually, all of her skill animations across all 3 skins are amazing, and her quoted and look itself and everything about her fits in with her lore. And then her kit! It flows so well from one skill to the next, weaving in auto attacks for the passive. It just feels great. You can go all sorts of different builds, assassin, bruiser, or DPS, she is so versatile, can fill top mid or jungle. Just an amazingly well designed champion that is so fun to play!"
Dr. mundo
Space Zoom Fade- "Been playing Dr. Mundo for months now; he's just so much fun to play. In the jungle, he can have some decent ganks with well-placed cleavers, and his clear speed is quite nice, but where he really shines in my eyes is in the top lane. Early game he can easily take down the opponent with cleavers, Burning Agony, and even ignite if you run him with that. Personally I prefer to run flash/teleport on Mundo because it helps him stay in teamfights and even split-push where necessary. Awesome champion!"
Draven
doyouevenboromir "-Not Draven, Draaaaaaaaaaaaveeeeeeeeeeeeeen. This champ has a high skillcap, but you get used to him. The enjoyment of 3 shotting the enemy adc is by far worth the time spent mastering him. I do really miss 2 shotting adcs 2 minutes into the game with his old passive, but he is still my favorite adc. So just remember- Draven does it all, with style."
Elise
exiledFromBadmen- "I love elise because I love her skillset spiders. Simple. I love doing 100-0. I love webs. I love even her voice actress. I think this champion is made for me :)"
Evelynn
TenSlashTen- "I'm an evelynn main. I've played tank eve since s1. I've had players ask me why I choose tank eve over AP/AD eve and I've always just liked tank eve. Sometimes I would do a rylias build eve. Sometimes I still play a little rylias eve to this day but most of the time I just like tank eve."
Ezreal
NinjaCÅT- "Ezreal main. I play him as an AP mid laner. I love skill shots and who has more skill shots than ezreal? His damage is beyond insane late game ( I can do 35% of a champs HP with just Q) and can 2 shot non tanky champs. Not to mention most of his damage is AoE and can easily hit 4 or 5 enemies in a team fight instantly taking most of their whole teams HP. But the best part is the snipes. There is no feeling like landing R on a pair of fleeing enemies at and watching them both explode or timing a recall to kill them as they reach spawn. I just love blinking around and landing skill shots!"
Fiddlesticks
My Team Is Great- "Fiddlesticks Main Here. The most terrifying ult in the game, and if used correctly, can win games. Is versatile, can be played in Mid, Support and Jungle. His weakness is hard crowd control, his main damage coming from his easily interruptable drain. To be good with fiddlesticks practice a lot and learn the best times to ult. Overall, an essential champion in everyones pool."
Fiora
My Ebola Chan- "My first PvP game with Fiora was the best game I’ve ever had, I went 30/1/2. I like how she can stick to people and make complex escapes. Plus her ult feels so good when it gets you multikills."
Fizz
Tundra Fizz- "My name is Tundra Fizz and I main Fizz ♥"
Galio
Caustic Crusader-"Galio main here. I just find him very effective, and the things people usually think work against him (AD mids) are actually unsuccessful 9 out of 10 times. Seems people just don't know how to play around him."
Gangplank
Jack Sparrow- "I'm a Gangplank main, I'll let you figure out why."
Garen
Chaz5- "I main Garen. Garen is my all time fsvorite champion in the game, I love his aesthetic as a courageous knight who fights for his country and his unwavering faith of truth, justice, and the Demacian way. It also helps that he is fun as all hell. Garen is by far one of the champions I have experimented the most with build wise and worked on getting good at, I realize he is not a competitive champion due to his lack of CC and mobility, but I love him all the same, there is nothing like silencing a Katarina mid ult and laying waste to the enemy team clumped around, and nothing quite as majestic as watching a giant sword descend from the sky in a glorious flash of brilliant light and crushing someone. I also really love the fact he can crit as a bruiser which I find to be a unique, if underused mechanic of his kit."
Gnar
InsaneSamurai- "Love the little guy. He really fits my bizarre playstyle well, and he's one of the champs you always feel like you can improve on in some way. I never really felt like I had a 'main' and I've been playing something like 2 years now, so I just assumed I'd never have one. Then along came this crazy little bouncing, hulking out dude and I just couldn't stop playing him :) I love unexpected stuff, and even after playing the crap out of him I still surprise myself sometimes(in both good ways and bad), and surprising opponents is always nice! P.S. He can be very useful in the adc slot on many team comps :D"
Gragas
Lajinn5-"nothing beats dunking a barrel over the heads of your foes. He's one of my favorite overall champs, as I love his theme and love his playstyle. Also, he gets extra points for manly facial hair"
Graves
missinggrave- "Along with the beautiful irony with my username, Graves was my first ADC I wanted to play. (( Of course that was because of the pool party skin, but let's ignore that for now. )) I grew to love him because of his passive which let me take more damage than other ADCs could dish out early game and his multitude of build paths. :) < I love seeing being able to build BORK, Trinity, or Essence Reaver and have them each be effective in their own way. (( Plus it's kinda like playing Lucian but without NEEDING Trinity and being able to focus on AD. Cowboy master race when it comes to that. ))"
Hecarim
EdgarÅllanPwn- "I've been playing Hecarim since release. He's been nerfed to the ground but this Warhorse still stands tall. He's furious in the jungle and comes charging out of it towards his enemies to run them over in a fiery charge of destruction. His abilities allow for the true presence of a Leader. He's able to charge in, heal off of his allies damage, and control the enemy team to lead his allies to victory. I never get tired of charging headfirst into the enemy team and holding them down while my allies demolish our enemies."
Heimerdinger
Baval- "Heimer Mainer signing in. Been playing him ever since i started about mid way through season 1. I literlaly started playing this game for him and bought him and his Piltover Customs skin with RP my first day. PLayed him through all the nerfs and buffs and the rework, and i still love him. Cant stop that Heimerdanger."
Irelia
Faenyx- "Irelia is a monster..There is a reason Morello constantly nerfs Irelia and i have no problem taking her to the field and giving life to his fears."
Janna
Pikmints- "Realized her potential when I was still below level 5. Her insane peel made me love supporting and an AoE heal shoving enemies away sounded incredible to me, matching my normally defensive playstyle and fondness for tactical utility over damage."
Jarvan IV
High Lord Blaze- "He has such good damage early, and his ganking is so strong, it's really hard to leave laning phase not having at least one lane fed. Then in teamfights, he causes so much chaos, going right onto the enemy carries and sealing them into a small arena with him, while locking the other team out (dashes/blinks can escape, of course.) You can you your flag to reposition, and you don't even have to always go to it, so you can throw it one way and run the other."
Jax
Jayce
RickDodger- "Jayce. A man of the future, the guardsman of tomorrow. He is capable of dueling with the best of top lane, poking against the worst in middle lane, and positioning beyond the enemies of bottom lane. My way of working with him is with tankiness and AD, and playing him as the factotum bruiser of the team composition. If done well, he can even one shot enemies low on health with one hammer form E proc if close enough. But what's really underrated about him is his flexibility in battle and his capability of adaptability. I had plenty of fun with him and would still have fun with him if given the position."
Jinx
Fateborn- "Jinx.
Gotta blow them all up.
When I plays as her, I turns into her. I hyperactive myself, I get excited, I giggles to myself with each rocket, I lands a dead-on impact with ulti.
Nothing can satisfy me more than her."
Karma
Albiros- "Simply the most satisfying champion to play. Ever since her rework she became the one. With her calm yet sturdy expressions she fills her allies with determination and smites those opposing her beliefs. She's able to dominate any lane, survive close to death situations and she has the potential to turn the overcome of a battle singlehandedly. She's also very pleasing to the eye ;)"
Karthus
Rykaal- "I am a Karthus main, and have been for over 2 years now. Nothing beats gettin 5 kills because they focused you first in a teamfight. With good positioning, a late game Karthus deals such high amounts of sustained damage its scary. And I haven't even gotten to the best part. Karthus's laning phase is easily one of the worst for mid, but getting fed off 2 or 3 good ults early game is so rewarding."
Kassadin
WutsKraken- "While I enjoy and play many champions, I must consider myself a Kassadin main. Back before this...monstrosity of a rework, he was the most interesting to me thematically. He had THE most badass lore of anyone in the game, he'd stared into the terrors of the Void, was nearly consumed by it, but emerged on a mission to protect the world from it."
Katarina
Rigaudon- "Katarina has been my main since near when I started. I enjoy the mobility, High Risk/Reward play-style that defines her. You can either go in and get that amazing penta-kill, or go in and just barely miss the kill, and die. Her ability to be aggressive against champions under turrets means she can keep her opponent having to recall repeatedly. The fact that she can be shut down so easily is what I really enjoy, I love finding the right way, or timing it just right to avoid a counter and still get the kill(s). Katarina is one tough Kat."
(BONUS: DaejinTye- "I would like to be the Katarina main. I'll let my ranked stats explain why.")
Kayle
ArchmageGold- "Has an annoying early game but can even duel against Aatrox should she hit 6. With her ult, she is the Queen of Comebacks, making your ADC always feel safe. Her passive makes her shred even the tankiest top laners (Or any laner for that matter, she can be played any role). She makes sure if you are going in, you arnt going out without a shitton of scars with her slow and movement speed boost. Come late game, she is an extreme splitpush threat and if left unattended can get 2 towers down before you can say MIA."
Kennen
xTheft- "Kennen Main. Unlimited poke top lane and ranged easy farming. Only champion I've seen that can deal with Pantheon or Riven top."
Kha'Zix
Visys- "Kha'Zix main here. No matter what they try to change him into next, I'll always love hopping around the rift with this bug. I just love the assassin playstyle and Kha'zix is by far the most fun and fluid feeling assassin I've played yet."
Kog'Maw
Gergosh- "I have every skin but love the ugly ones the best.... Something about shooting spit in peoples faces and killing them with it is so rewarding."
LeBlanc
Supreme Evaine- "Hi, put me for LeBlanc, since I've been playing her nonstop from the moment I found her. My friend HardcoreHolly was using her and I always thought she was pretty cool, but the instant I played her I was in love. Escaping death more than a dozen times a game is something only LeBlanc and a few other solo champions can do, and good god, it's the most satisfying thing to hit the chain in a W-QREW combo. Makes those fuckers cry."
Lee Sin
Xanthippy- "I'm a filthy Lee Sin main. No matter what, Lee Sin is the 1 champion that always remains fun to me. Ward kicks and flash kicks and all of the flashy plays have become mind numbingly easy to me over the roughly 1000 games I've played with him and I never get tired of pulling it off. I love being the undisputed king of the early game and dominating the flow of the game with sheer pressure and skill. I love his lore, a badass monk who has endured more pain than anyone can imagine (mentally and physically) and still only seeks to atone for his wrongdoings. I love executing someone with a max-range q or wardjumping and flashing behind a carry to kick them into my team and making it a 5v4. He's incredibly versatile and can be built according to the flow of the game and always be effective due to his mix of damage tools and utility, but they can't be taken advantage of at the same time, which makes him balanced. You start with a wealth of tools at your disposal to win the early game and late game you're left with just your utility and it's still so significant that you can win a game by making skillful plays."
Leona
Frostbutt- "When I first bought her, I just absolutely carried my teams. Yes. The tank. I carried so many games with tank leona. I love being super aggressive in lane, and stunlocking someone is just ... so fun. Also, Many times, I've successfully 1v2'd against the ADC and support under (my) turret. Sorry ADC mains D:"
Lissandra
Relation- "When i started league, i was looking through the long list of character abilities. Non really appealed to me. But when i finally came over lissandra, i was like I NEED HER NOW. I love how she is iced themed, hence i got anivia as my first champion. I was so excited to get lissandra that i used a refund on a 3150 champion when i was at the half way mark. She brings LOTS of utility in team fights. Being able to go in, force people to take damage with Ring of Frost, and basically Zhonyas that does damage is fantastic. I used to play her support and top, but now its strictly to mid. I tried her jungle once, but just roaming is better. I love ganking lanes with my Glacial Path and locking the opponent down for atleast 3 seconds. This is why lissandra is my main, but she is outclassed (in my opinion) with Oriana."
Lucian
CausticDeceiver- "I remember, one day, Lucian was on free rotation when I was a level 8 still playong bot games. His splash looked cool, so I read his lore, and I like "YES RITO ME GUSTA". So, I played him, and being the level 8 scrub that I was, managed to actually go positive in a bot game for once! I mean, he felt so fun because of his ridiculous passive and unique mechanics, so I devoted all my time on LoL to saving up for him, and the feeling when I got him was indescribable."
Lulu
Soleka- "I main Lulu. My friends know my moods by the champs I play. Lulu has a special bit of play in my heart. I call it "trolling with Lulu" I love playing support lulu. Turning people into bunnies, or bigging that champion during a team battle to really screw things up. >:)"
Lux
Aspynn- "I was a lux main for a long time, until I started to favor some other supports that could do lux's job similarly. I always loved playing lux for her fantastic zoning and amazing ult snipes. She's so useful in teamfights, with an aoe slow, a double root, an aoe line shield, and an amazing LASER ult to devastate the entire enemy team! She's super good at getting her carries fed, and can build full ap to do INSANE damage and obliterate carries! She is also fantastic at protecting carries, and can disengage with a root, slow, and a huge chunk of damage. My favorite thing about lux is definitely her ult! It feels so good to get multikills with a perfectly lined up laser."
Malphite
Drakylon- "Who doesn't want to be a big freaking rock? I never did like the fact that playing a damage-dealer meant I was focused hard (and subsequently died a lot), so I thought I'd just play a tank and take all the damage head-on. However, not doing enough damage made me feel like I wasn't contributing. So what better champion to play than Malphite, someone who not only has a pretty good amount of CC but also scales off of the bulk I was looking for? Added bonus from the fact that Vayne was super-popular when I started."
Malzahar
Meepo4u- "From mid 2010 to the start of Season 1 I mostly played Malzahar, even when, at his release, his ult was cleanseable, when there was no Rabbadon's Deathcap and when he was considered complete trashcan tier. I won my first ranked match with Malzahar. I can't remember my rating (there were no divisions) but it was pretty decent, and it was exclusively thanks to Malzahar and my 60-70% winrate with him. I knew every nuance, every build, every trick to him. I could faceroll and drop every spell on someone from a bush so fast it looks like a macro, I lead my CotV's like you wouldn't believe, I can even function against people who pick up QSS. Malzahar's my favorite carpet selling broham and possibly my favorite character from any ARTS/MOBA in existence, next to Meepo, and I don't think i'd have it any other way. Even today, on a new account (I lost my old one) I still remember how to play this guy. After YEARS of not playing League and almost exclusively playing DotA2, everything I knew about him stuck, and I still roll mid like you wouldn't believe. Keep on truckin, you glorious nukemachine. You have a special place in my heart."
Maokai
Green Silhouette- "Maokai - After my friend got me into League, he told me to just glance at all the champions, and I immediately fell in love with the big ol' tree. I made sure he was one of the first champions I'd unlock, and ended up maining him in the jungle the rest of season 3 (I know, I'm still a noobie). The first time I bought RP was to get Haunted Mao while he was available. I find his subtle, yet oh so punishing CC satisfying to use, and love how versatile he can be in a team comp depending on how you build him. Of course, his sapplings are always too cute to ignore, too."
Master Yi
windwolf777- "For me my main is yi . When I first got into league I hated the champion rotation and just wanted to focus on one champ so I could try to learn the ins and outs of the game. I always had a thing for melee assassin kind of heroes/champs/characters in other games. So when I was looking at the things I could buy instantly, I saw Yi and thought, well, "This'll be a blast" (I knew a few things before coming in like a few of the jokes.). But I started playing, and loved him from the start. First started playing him as a jungler because I read that was a way to play him, couldn't so I started laning him, then once I learned how to jungle and had a few points in masteries (mostly jungling ones like bladed armor, and some cdr ((remember this is when I first started)), and now I'm working on runes and masteries for him. (Call me a noobie if you want but I don't care. I shall possibly be forever a yi main)"
Miss Fortune
Remlap1223- "While there were always be a special place in my heart for GP and Quinn, I will go ahead and say my main ADC is MF. She was the first champion I got with IP, the first ADC I played, and the first champion I really fell in love with. She's seen some better days, but I always feel like a special snowflake when I do well with her. I like her the same way that I like Gangplank, you can build her a lot of different ways to fit your team composition; I have a utility ADC and a carry ADC build for her. Her lane bullying is second to none, and her late game dueling potential is rivaled only by the hypercarries. Plus dem boobies yo."
Mordekaiser
Matezoide- "Mordekaiser! i just love everything about this dude. His incredible damage, his awesome 1v2 potential, the situations where i survive with just 5 HP because of his passive and the way he teached me about map awareness (No mobility yo). My first (And only) Pentakill (And it was 1v5 to boot) was with this badass, on a 4v5 that we managed to carry extremely hard despite bot feeding a Vayne. Amusingly enough, i am brazilian, but feeling like a stereotype is completely worth it for Mordekaiser."
Morgana
Nami
butterhero53- "She is my most played champion in ranked, and can carry teamfights all by herself! Her incredible combination of heals and cc just make any lane perfect!"
Nasus
K9 Cane Patrol- "I'm a Nasus main. I love the feeling of running up to people in the late game and two shotting them, on top of being a nearly impossible to kill beast. Farming most of the game never gets old for me, because I know it will pay off immensely. Awesome champion!"
Nautilus
MasterCynric - "Nautilus jungle and support. Nautilus is such an amazing champion. I plan to main him and climb the ranked ladder with him all the way!! BEWARE THE DEPTHS!"
Nidalee
lorewise- "My first true love is Nidalee. I've always had a love for video game characters that can shapeshift and part of that comes from an appreciation for adaptability and flexibility. She can go into any lane, and brings with her damage, utility and mobility. It's my sincerest hope that the Jungle changes coming next season allow her to shine there as well because thematically it's frustrating that she's weak in the Jungle compared to many other champions. She's the Beastial Huntress for Teemo's sake!"
Nocturne
Marik Winters- "I am a Nocturne main(in the mid lane nonetheless!) Nocturne is a versatile champion who can be played many ways for different effect however I am going to focus on why I play him in the mid lane."
Nunu
Arandom13yearold- "Nunu main here, when you are surrounded by a bunch of people who don't play against nunu often (most people can't even find him being played) you can really take advantage of it, steal all of your enemy buffs as fast as a lightning bolt striking a tree, great success, he is also good at being a charge up assasin, letting people who don't see it coming to have a swift dive into the depths of death"
Olaf
Salidfingers- "Olaf Beast!" (as elegant as i would hope an olaf main would be!)
Orianna
WaeTonyWae- "So, like most of the champions I learn, I was initially interested in Orianna's Lore rather than her kit, itself, prior to her release. The lore simply enticed me, and I couldn't help but be drawn to learn her, especially as people on PBE kept saying she had a "high learning curve". And, as soon as I got my hands on her, I fell in love with her kit. She offers high damage and a ton of utility. Her kit fits my play style perfectly, and her "learning curve" was simply non-existent to me. However, recently, I only play her every now and then, even in Ranked, because her kit is too natural to my play style, so I'd rather play other things for more variety. But, I'm always happy to see her played often at large tournaments knowing she will not be nerfed or buffed too badly because her kit is largely reliant on a player's skill in utilizing her ball most effectively."
Pantheon
CynicalGiant "Pantheon is ruthless and does a lot of damage. Also he is a spartan. I wish I had a more complex reason as to why I main him, but I just like Shields + Spears and doing a crapton of damage in 2 seconds. I started maining him in Season 3 and I wasn't that great with him, and then I just kept practicing "the art of war" and eventually got to Gold 4 and 68-70% winrate with him. I'm hoping he and I can make Diamond someday."
Poppy
The MechE- "Some games she's almost unkillable. Very strong champion when played correct and very fun in either the jungle or support role. With Poppy, I'm always a force to be reckoned with regardless of my role."
Quinn
Allimiira- "I'm a Quinn main! I mostly play her mid lane, where her ultimate turns her into an extremely mobile assassin. In addition, I adore how she exists to counter ADCs-after the early game, of course."
Rammus
CC Shepherd- "Oh rammus, all of the wonderful memories I share with you. From the dragon steal 1v5 while never leaving powerball, to the time we outfarmed our midlane kennen by 100 cs at 30 minutes by spamming ult in lanes. The good times (s2), the bad times (Hog removal, ancient golem nerfs), and the pretty good times (recent SotAG buffs); the few special LCS games; the introduction of homeguards...and through it all, even a terrible lore change, your start has remained cloth 5 by some strange turn of events. Never change, you beautiful armordillo."
Renekton
Kuroi86- "One of my first main champs, and the one I still go to most in top lane. A solid champ with such a good kit that it's possible to easily overcome his supposed drop off in late game and still be relevant even when a game passes a full hour in length. The number of times I've bested a supposed counter, or turned a two dive into a double kill is simply ridiculous. He's easily one of the strongest champs in the game and is one of my all time favorites and will always remain one of my main champs for top lane."
Rengar
KnifeLion- "I've been playing Rengar since he was released and he's by far my most played champion. Rengar's bounty hunter theme and brutally unforgiving play style is what has kept me playing him after every nerf. No matter the nerfs, Rengar overcomes the odds and remains a powerful champion in the right hands."
Riven
what are wards- "Good thing I bought championship Riven back in season 2. Anywaysss Riven has such outplay potential, and even though she seems like a faceroll champion, nothing is more satisfying than flashing into 5 enemies with your team following up. I have been playing Riven jungle recently, and this goes to show how diverse my bae is <3"
Rumble
tl101- "RUMBLE!!! Ok so yeah you can kinda call me a Rumble main. i love rumble his presence in top lane early and late is incredible. No other champion has the same effect to me. You can just drop his ult as you die and still get a double or triple kill (did this once). His dueling potential is simply unrivaled especially in the danger zone."
Ryze
Best Ryze Japan- "My main is Ryze. I love Ryze because of how flexible his build paths are with his ap and mana scaling. I love having the option of going full tank, full damage, or a mixture of both. Going fast is always a plus and charging the squishies is what I do."
Sejuani
CliqueCrow- "Sej is my girl! I love her kit, her story, and most of all her Bear Calvary skin! Her damage is always overlooked when you get to just stand there spam W with Sunfire cape. Also, her ult wins teamfights/games by itself. Love her to the end of eternity"
Shaco
Irascibilem- "For a long time I was a Shaco main. Deep down I still feel like one, but with him I felt so in control. I could drop a box in the perfect spot to ruin engages/escapes and 1vX with smart clone and deceive use.. AP shaco is loads of fun as well! I love that jester! <3"
Shen
Furon137- "Shen main here. His ultimate is simply amazing! I've lost track of the number of times I've turned the impending death of a teammate into a double kill for our team."
Shyvana
Nukaclaw- "I play shyv because I like the near unparalleled feeling of diving headfirst into a teamfight as a giant fing problem that the enemy team has to focus or you'll eat their back line... literally... because you're a dragon. Also it's cool to feel like a real RAID-BOSS!"
Singed
MTempty- "Love Singed. The moment of triumph when you catch the enemy carry and fling them to their deaths is so satisfying. You know you are going to die; all your cooldowns are blown and the enemy team is collapsing onto you... but it doesn't matter. You just captured the king. Then you get to sit back in satisfaction and drink their tears as your team mops that team fight up. Been playing Singed since season 2 when I heard his laugh. I knew he was the champ for me."
Sion
phyerbert- "Can i declare a champ I've barely played as a main? You bet I can! Since the rework i'm hooked. He's what I've been looking for in the jungle, tons of survive, lots of utility, the ability to initiate a fight, or join one far away quickly. great AOE cc and damage. I'm looking forward to limping all over the fields of justice with this undead menace for many days to come."
Sivir
Skarner
Masticatorr- "I've played since a week after he was released. And though I don't play him much anymore, he's still my go to if I truly need a win. I've been through all his updates and patches and reworks, and honestly this latest one is awesome. The stuns, the CC, his speed and power as a lategame fighter are truly monstrous. He jungles fast, hits fast, and ends your life faster with a quick drag into four hungry teammates."
Sona
Cameron2325- "Sona is love, Sona is life. Alot of people underestimate her rework. Huehuehuehuehue I say. None shall outpoke me. None shall bend the wills of the enemy as I have. Dance you fools, dance. My allies shall reap the benefits of my AOE shield and AS boost. My allies shall be cleansed by my s00thing maladies. Sona is love, Sona is life."
Soraka
Starcall- "You can put me under Soraka I guess..."
Swain
Svartfisk- "I'm a Swain main, he's just too much fun. It's so great when the enemy think you're one skill away from dead, and you just turn everything around with the healing from his ult."
Syndra
Lunae Lumen- "Syndra is so wonderful... with athenes you just keep spamming Q on your way to lane and then ult when you get there. Its like one of Shacos magic tricks; first you see your lane opponent, now you don't. ^.^"
Talon
Tim Allen Talon- "It's tool time"
Taric
KG Morder- "I main Taric. when i first started the game, i got dragged in through that riot tristanna thing on youtube. but I was no good as her, and a friend suggested Taric, who's easy enough to play, so i could support while learning. that must have been 3 or so years ago. today, I still play him, and in fact, I consider him my main. I know him in and out, although riot's changes to him over time tend to mean some re-learning is in order. but overall, he's just so fun and satisfying. I play him support I play him Bruiser and playing him Jungle is pretty fun as well. His kit for the most part just FEELS right. the stun and ult particularly, feels pretty satisfying to use. And saving your ally from that death blow with a clutch imbue feels real good. just as good as seen enemies run from the hammer when I build him bruiser well. I'll never forget the game I ran jungle Taric, and ended up seeing Darius of all champs, running away from me. His visuals also drew me in. that resplendent blue gem encrusted armor and long flowing hair made him stand out, and I dug the choice of shield and hammer. the voice and lines were pretty fun to listen ,and even funner to quote in voice chat with friends. I look forward to the day he gets a visual update, since he really deserves one. Though of course, I approach that idea with quite a bit of apprehension as well, given not all of Riot's reworks turn out for the better."
Teemo
Jradz- "Diamond teemo main, Objective control, strong mid game/late game if you can position correctly, TONS of damage and the ultimate troll champion to make people rage."
Thresh
CrystalScarreh- "Whether I hook someone under turret, or barely get someone out alive with my lantern, Thresh is my go-to support. The thing that I probably like most about Thresh, is that he's a complete powerhouse. He's able to initiate teamfights with ease, have god-like peel, and secure kills easily. He's also very flexible with the ADCs he can lane with. I once remember an amazing game I had played with Thresh. We were behind, and only me and Hecarim lived. 4V2, what happened? Hecarim got a quadra. I had hooked the enemy adc, boxed everyone in, and flayed them back. Hecarim ulted, and we got every single one. Now that's what I call teamwork."
Tristana
Trundle
insaiyanbacca- "i started off buying him just because he looked cool but he soon became my main (though atm im just messing around in norms i need to get back to my main)"
Tryndamere
Shockforce- "I totally enjoy suffering through laning phase to go on rampage later."
Twisted Fate
Crysomere- "I picked up TF when I was level 13 because I wanted to see if the man whose backstory was all about luck was a character that suited me, as my patron goddess is Lady Luck. The instant I started playing him I knew he was going to be fun if I could play him like he is: lucky as fuck, in the riht place in the right time. As of now I main him top lane AP assassin, able to full health a LB with a blue card (haha fuck your passive) and can literally play any role with him. I, like WaeTonyWae over here, also don't play him much for the exact same reasons, but if I really need a win I can just lock TF and fill a role."
Twitch
Tanukihero- "-I honestly found out about him through the champion spotlights, and luckily he was on free rotation. His weak early game at first was a minor annoyance but i like how he can sneak around and pick off targets with his poison stacks, when i got serious into playing him i found out his team fight potential is seriously strong, being able to utterly destroy the enemy team with his ult, out range and DAMAGE turrets i just had to use him for my go to adc"
Udyr
KevinK14- "I'm an udyr main because I can backdoor like a BOSS"
(BONUS: Rew711- "I've mained Udyr since I started LoL. I don't just back door, I top, jungle, mid, and bot. I play him so well, I usually don't need items. (Not a joke people, I didn't learn of items until after level 25.) I can solo red and blue. Haven't tried baron. Don't waist my time unless I just want to. I chose the guy as my first character because I like wolves and thought since Warwick seemed difficult, I should try some other champion. So yes, Udyr wasn't my first bought but he was my only character I played. He was simple and although he had no wolf attributes, I liked playing as him. Because I mained Udyr since level 5 or so, I got to level 30 by continuous playing and skill (I believe)."
Urgot
Deitrix- "I love me some Urgot. Big Sexy isn't as weak as a lot of people like to think. I'm just biding my time until the meta works in his favor so I can start rolling him out more often without getting raged at by the meta-sheep."
Varus
Ambrosia - "I managed to get Artic Ops Varus from one of the PAX codes previously not even knowing that he existed, and ever since he's become my main. His incredible Q snipes and his clutch team fight ults are one of the reasons I still play him. One day he shall be viable."
Vayne
Veigar
girantina1799- "Even before I started playing, I always thought I should play this guy, only because he looked so cute ^^. I've leveled with him, kind of main him, and have final boss for him. He's not viable, but you can't beat the feeling of 100-0 :D"
(BONUS: The Tyrant- "I still remember when i first wanted, and decided to main veigar. I was stuck in Gold as veigar. Even though he was a unpopular, and known as a "un-viable" pick, i decided to master him, and make him good...I may not be thee best at veigar, but i am one of the best. Started as gold veigar, and now long down the road with no giving up, i am now a "Master" Veigar. Never give up on something you love. Because i never gave up on veigar...<3")
Vel'Koz
millo90- "Without a doubt my favorite champion and probably the strongest support in the game, there's nothing I love more than out damaging my entire team from the sheer amount of true damage I can dish out."
Vi {{champion:254}] LuckyReden- "Ive loved vi since the moment i bought her a year ago, she is so satisfying to play. She is one of the few champions in the game where when I play her I feel like I'm actually beating the crap out of something."
Viktor
Desmond Law- "Viktor! I love robots and Viktor was the first 6.3k champ I played and I instabought him. Of course, he's had his rework, but his core feeling is still there. Despite him being a machine lord decked out for battle, I find it best to wait to surprise your enemy with tons of damage before going in for the extended battles."
Vladimir
ASURA SMD- "vladimir is virtually impossible to kill and utterly stops teamfights -- playing him feels nice because you know you can carry the game no matter what if you keep your shit together and pool cleverly."
Volibear
ChimeiTekinaNasu- "TLGR (too long go read (down below))"
Warwick
PIG withrockets- "I am a Warwick main. I love running around the jungle destroying the enemy buffs and daring the opposing jungler to fight me. I get a sadistic thrill from people seeing the howling icon above their head and they know they are dead, but they attempt to run anyway only for it to end up with me wolfing down another enemy champion. It really is only fun if they run."
Wukong
2hot2trotsky- "wukong was the 1st champion i ever played, because i really like monkeys, his ultimate is so powerful and he's fun to spin into enemy teams even if you're on the losing team"
Xerath
Vovix- "Xerath main here. I played Xerath a lot more before the rework, but I do think the rework was successful in keeping the "feel" of old Xerath intact. I really like the feeling of sniping enemies down from afar and being this sort of magical artillery."
Xin Zhao
DeMendite- "This guy is the whole package for me. I'm a big fan of Chinese history so I started looking for a Chinese-themed champion as soon as I installed LoL. Turned out he fit my playstyle perfectly -a jungler who gets his early buffs and then ganks, ganks, and ganks all day."
Yasuo
Bryan1714- "Im a yasuo main, and i really enjoy yasuo because he feels like a true fighter, i love his mobility with combination of his play making and damage, and i also enjoy when ppl say in chat that hes broken when im doing good or calling me a god for some sick 1 v 2 and his teamfight is pretty good even when you dont have many champions that sync with him."
Yorick
Zac
HoNhero114- "Top lane only. Nothing is better than getting the slowest kills. Everyone always underestimates the healing. You can pinpoint the exact moment their confidence in a fight leaves them."
Zed
Mr IHop - "All day every day. Bursting down ADC's like they're supps. lol"
Ziggs
xJoushi- "Oh I'll be the Ziggs main I guess. I dabbled with him a little bit in Season 3, where I loved his personality, but felt underwhelming in the assassin meta. Once we shifted to the mage meta again, I was able to start bombing my opponents again, where I almost entirely used Ziggs/Lulu to get from Gold to Diamond this year, even powering through the Leblanc dominance."
Zilean
Zyra
PeanutButterJely- "Add me to Zyra. :) This champ was the reason i started playing LoL. I srly like her playstyle. The feeling like summoning plants, thorns and flower to the battlefield. The utility she has is amazing. <3"
