Skipped preseason, come back, and everything seems messy right now...

But that's ok

I have to say that this is the first time in 5 seasons where I felt that Riot has given themselves the tools to actually tackle the game at a really high level. I was unsure about runes reforged, and how they would handle them, so I skipped preseason, but I am pleasantly surprised looking into it.

Looking at everything now, the runes aren't there yet, but it's a system that is being used much better than the original rune and mastery system and is easier to change. There are fewer interactions which means each interaction is easier to balance, and more options actually become viable.

I actually have some hope that this could go well.

If you are saying you like what ghostcrawler did then you are a twisted individual. He ruined WoW now he ruined League.

His changes to WoW is what caused a lot of players to quit WoW and never return.
