@Riot Wondering if you could provide some clarity about On-hit applying abilities
So Certain abilities are able to apply on-hit effects.
For example Yas', Fiora's, Fizz's, Gangplank's, and Ezreal's Q abilities are all abilities that apply on-hit effects.
These abilities are fairly inconsistent in how they would react to Pantheon's passive, Jax's E, Spellshields, or blinds.
Fizz is only effected by the physical portion of the ability, when considering Blinds, dodges, or Pantheon, while the entirety of the ability is blocked by spellshields.
Yas Ignores blinds and dodges, but is still effected by Pantheon's passive, and was parried before it was changed to Riposte. The ability is blocked by spellshields.
Fiora's lunge is effected by blinds, dodges, and Pantheon, but is not effected by spellshields.
Both Ezreal and Gangplank are effected by blinds, dodges, Pantheon, and spellshields.
Just to be clear, how are these abilities and effects supposed to interact? It's very clear with things like Yas or Braum vs projectiles, and I know clarity is a big push right now, so here's some low hanging fruit that could be cleared up.
From my perspective:
- Anything that's blind-able should be dodge-able and affected by Pantheon's passive
- Anything that functions as an auto-attack, meaning anything that applies as a function of the auto-attack timer, regardless of attack speed, the timer being reset, or any type of "Auto-attack Ammunition", Should be blind-able
- Anything that functions as an auto-attack, again meaning it operates on the auto-attack timer, should be unaffected by spell shields
- Anything that doesn't function as an auto-attack, meaning it functions independently from the auto-attack timer, should not be blind-able regardless of application of on-hits
- Anything that is not blind-able should be negated by spell-shields.
