I can't be the only one here thinking this, I play a lot of Anivia (ok fine only Anivia) and I see myself buying this item EVERY single game. Not only that I see a lot of mage supports rushing this item only after their first item, and with the rune that starts you off with one I find it very annoying.
Either increase the cost of Zhonyas by 300 or increase the CDR by 15 seconds.

, you know the item that gives you everything you want as AD and a shield you dont have to think about activating and still allows you to act.
your problem by your argument is the stasis effect then. also its usually rushed by mage supports due to the fact that its a great defensive buy for botlane being that 99% of the damage is physical, so the armor is great, stasis for anti-towerdive, and the fact that as a mage support you usually exist for unmatched poke before an all-in, so your not very reliant on damage, but rather spammable abilities.
's is sadly the only line of defense against any champion as an AP champion.
All AP champions are pretty much invalidated by a 450G item,
