Should ADC Have highest Damage to Champions?
Should the ADC in general (in a 30 min game let's say) have the highest damage dealt to champions stat?
I play some ADC and have a positive win rate in Ranked but I almost NEVER deal the most damage to champions. In fact, I'm usually 3rd (sometimes 2nd). I'm usually playing champs like Ashe and MF.
Is this really bad?
I've noticed that it tends to be the Mid taking first place and then some snow-balling Top or JG taking second. Should the ADC be consistently on top in this meta or at least more often than not? Or has that changed?
The TOTAL damage dealt by the ADC is at least 2nd highest (counting non-champion) in my games, but most of it is fired at minions or towers.
Food for Junglers, early game Supports, roaming Mids, and TP Tops.
Very low damage and below average DPS.

combo
Food for High Damage Junglers such as Assassins and Divers, not-really-supportive Supports such as Annie, Lux, Brand, Vel'Koz, etc, roaming Mids, and non-Tank Top Laners.
Slightly better damage, capable of either chunking people or having a decent DPS, not both.
(or another one of the first 2)
Food for Divers, Skirmishers, Burst Mages, and Juggernauts. Should be aware of Assassins and some Tanks if under 60% hp. Can give other classes a hell of a time.
At this point the ADCs damage spikes hard. They most likely become the primary target during fights, due to dealing the most damage from this point onwards.
,
and
can be expected to have the highest damage stat. They poke in lane well and have damage abilities in teamfights that hit everyone.
Other adc's don't poke so much in lane maybe, and are more about high sustained 1v1 dmg like
. But it's not her job "to deal damage". It's her job to kill people.
Does that make her any less of an adc? Course not, just means we have actual adc diversity.
