Surrender should rarely be a viable option for all games

The fact that the majority of games one of the two teams are surrendering shows a problem. I don't know what to do about it, but I've just been playing recently and whenever one of the two teams surrenders I started thinking. The objectives up, the turrets, etc. Nope, it scrolls all the way to the base and it just blows up.

League is supposed to be a STRATEGY game, along with champion gameplay. I'm not a game developer so I don't know the solution, but this is a serious problem and Riot needs to do whatever is needed to fix it. When people are constantly surrendering in a strategic game like League, this a huge issue that needs to be addressed.

It actually has to do more with the players. Outside of the highest quality of league games, players and teams make many mistakes that other players are able to capitalize on during the game, many enough to throw their lead. However, many players like to give up after being down a kill or 2. Game is 0 / 5 at 10, GG SURRENDER GG and giving up and spamming early surrender when they are playing a LATE game team comp vs a more early game.

How many times my teams have late game champions like vayne, lose lane to an early gamer like lucian and GG SURRENDER GGGGGGG. And even more-so, how many times I see lanes that fight, lose, fight again lose and after being several kills and an item behind, let's continue to try to 1 v 1; thereby forcing toxicity in the game and causing people to give up. They give up due to that opponent now being able to destroy everyone else and making for a bad game experience.

Often times, if you keep your cool, especially if you are playing late game champions, the enemy will make a mistake, throw and you can come back and win as you outscale. But people don't want to do that. They win early or GG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Riot can't tell the community to stay in a game if the large team majority (or all 5 pre 20) decide to give it up and surrender. It'll just be OPEN MID otherwise and legit afking.

Couldnt disagree more. Sometimes, it is obvious that your team is entirely filled with morons, and the only SANE thing to do is surrender. This is specifically for bronze and silver ELO. When your team has fed 0/2/0, 0/2/0, 0/3/0, 0/3/0... surrender at TEN minutes should be an option. Because this happens BEFORE TEN MINUTES at this elo sometimes!!

If anything, the "unamimous" early mandate should be removed. It's just crazy making to be forced to play these complete utter waste-of-time games. The only thing it accomplishes, is to drive a decent player to froth at the mouth and go toxic.

Save sanity. Allow more surrenders.
