We still don't have a replay system. We still don't have a chat system. We still don't have a sandbox mode. Vayne can still condemn into J4's ult. Karthus and Rengar still don't have global quotes.

League has so many age old problems that it isn't even funny.

No one wants voice chat anyways, it'll just be toxic af people, or 12 year olds. Everyone would get muted. And there's curse voice for that. Replay system? LoLreplay, Overwolf, Baron Replays. There ARE options.

Voice is much less toxic than chat. I play CSGO a lot. You will get your occasional jerk, but you won't see the little snide remarks that lead to bigger things because people realize they are talking to other people.

Also, when you mute someone it should stay through post-game. I'm tired of taking 'Verbal Abuse: The Sequel;, after I had muted someone.

It is one thing to be toxic to someone with typed text, and a whole other thing to tell them the same in their face. Worst case scenario, you have to mute someone.

Personally I think it is funny how fans do things that RIOT should have done ages ago, I just hope they do something about it with the new client.

I dont mind not being able to rearrange masteries.

I would like an option to rearrange rune pages. I have them all neatly set up: my 3 AD pages, my 3 AP pages, Troll pages, then champ specific. Having to add/delete an AD or AP page is just a pain.

They're building a new client from scratch, instead of being Adobe Air based. This pops up every 2 weeks or so because people can't seem to read what's previously been posted and just waiting.

I see what you're saying, but Riot has mentioned this a numerous occasions, as well as this thread being made fairly consistently. At some point, it should enter overall general knowledge.

Agreed. Some people judge Riot way to quickly without fully knowing what's in the works or what their capabilities/limitations are which can be frustrating to see at times.

I hope we get to see the new client soon rather than later. There's so much they could do with a custom client :)

Yesterday i found out that you could Drag/Drop "contacts" from one friends group to another instead of right clicking them and picking (move to >> groupX)

I first thought "huh nice" but then i was like "why do we have the ability to do this but not drag and drop mastery and rune pages ?!!"

I am assuming they'll add that with the new client. Hopefully that'll be soon :) It seems to me they don't have much control over the current air client framework.

They have more than enough control to allow rearranging mastery pages.

The new client has been talked about for several years now. I wouldn't hold my breath on it fixing these problems.

True, I doubt it would take too much effort to add the mastery-swapping change and I am surprised it is not not in the current client at this point, but I guess they are not too inclined to work it out with the new client on the way (since they are working with a new software language, C++ I believe).

I have never heard Riot mention a new client until their recent announcement about 2 months ago when announcing the pre-season and new tech to come; of course I was not paying much attention to upcoming features during season 2 and 3. I would be extremely surprised if they did not address the masteries with the new client.

There were talks about an alternative client in the works several years back. Then Riot bought out some company a couple years ago to use the acquired technology in building a new client. I'll have to see if I can find information on that when I have more time and report back.
