Mastery Level 7; Champion Summoner Icon?

I thought it'd be kinda cool if Riot awarded us with a picture of whatever champ we got level 7 on to set as our summoner icon. Thoughts?

I'd much rather have us unlock the Champion's skins as our profile background. As cool as Morde's base splash art looks I'd like everyone who visits my profile to see the glory that is Mordekaiser sitting on a throne, showered in golden light.

I like that the new client seems to use the pic of our main champ. (most used recently) Which is nice.

I wish we could set it to what ever champion with what ever skin we wanted though. I want my dragonslayer jarvan background.

It is a pretty neat feature. ARAM gives it a really hard time though, because it can't figure out who to pick if every game in your past 20 matches has been a different champion.

It makes the thresh-hold lower if you wanna play some normals for that specific champ tho.

with sites that can show you peoples profiles could that be used as an advantage?

i suppose you don't know their names so you can't ban based off their profile pic

But you can´t see enemies pictures until the game starts. And if you mean about custmon they can see you profile.

Kind of dumb to try and have them add that now when this has been in the game for awhile and plus 7 won't be the last mastery for long. They are adding other levels and rewards.

I've actually thought about this for a while. I even had the brilliant (or maybe not so brilliant) idea of making a mastery 8 which would require something like 5-10 S+ (just a ridiculous number really so it doesn't take a day to get) and as a reward obviously a new emote, but also give that player access to either a special mastery skin, or give them a free skin. (Okay actually I said at one point mastery 8 would give players access to all those champs skins, but theres no way riot would go for that)

I dunno, they might consider adding additional mastery levels in the future, where they'll add that as a reward then.

hope Riot does something with mastery score as well. there is no point after lvl 5 would like too see a icon or ad on in loading screen too like the honor ribon.

I'd like to see it for obtaining 100k mastery points. Level 7 won't be the top for long, plus it's fairly easy to get as long as you understand how to get S's

A long time ago, around the time when the new launcher was being developed, they said they might make animated player icons possible. With the login screens announcing new champions already being animated, I thought it would be pretty cool if they made an animated version of the champion's splash as a summoner icon for champion mastery.
