Better keep nerfing Wukong and Zoe, because those two are clearly the main problems. After all, deleting someone with little to no counterplay is a-OK as long as you look flashy enough while doing so.

there will be a time in which players will become better at handling everything instead of crying about nerf and opness
They're both natively popular and have play rates far outshining their power level, regardless of what that power level is. When they're "perfectly balanced", they have high play rates. When they're strong or in meta, they have very high play rates. That doesn't mean they're necessarily strong enough to need nerfs.
When you see Volibear or Amumu in 80% of games for an extended period of time, that's much more likely to indicate that they might be too strong.
I think a big part of the problem is the items; namely duskblade and stormrazor.
Wukong will never be healthy no matter how much you nerf him. His kit is just way too loaded and none of his abilities can be dodged. Zoe, Zed, and Yasuo are annoying, but at least I can dodge some of their abilities.

The reason you never see zoe is because she's banned.. lol. Wukong I can agree with though. Stupid nerfs. Linear kits are way too easy to play vs.
It's because theyre AD midlaners with next to no resource management, you don't really need a brain to play them at least semi-successfully, hell, I suck ass at both of them because they're both extremely far out of my comfort zone yet it's not that hard to win a game on them simply for the fact they're AD with no resource management. Mages have AP burst or DPS which can get negated very hard by HP and MR, since it costs mana and has cooldowns. Unlike these two who have essentially infinite mana (relatively, for Zed), while one of them has a stupid built in IE passive and the other is a duskblade user. They're flashy and they're braindead, that's why, lotta mouthbreathers in this playerbase.
Probably because they have fun kits to play so they have high play rates. That doesnt mean you nerf them though buddy. No matter how much you nerf champions that are fun, they will be fun so regardless they will be played. Yas has literally always had a high playrate even when he was trash.
Oh no, popular champions who aren't actually performing well still get picked because they're fun to play? What a problem.
Except... you know... that the fact they aren't overpowered even despite the huge popularity only solidifies the fact they aren't actually overpowered.
This is dumb. Yasuo & Zed are 2 of the MOST fun champs to play. Let's look at these examples:
You pick annie. Use abilities and get stun. Use R and insta delete your lane.
Play Yasuo, use a Q, E>Q and minion to get closer while getting another Q stack, back off, E>Q>Flash to get knockup off unsuspecting mid laner and ignite to get kill just before they blow flash.
Which sounds more fun? Yasuo and Zed are fun to play because they feel rewarding when you play well with them. You see combos that Yassuo and LL Stylish use and you go "That looks so cool. Lemme try it" but you don't watch Anniebot and really learn anything "new".
A lot of champs are 1 dimensional. Yasuo and Zed are not. People enjoy playing them not because they are strong but because they are fun.

That's because you play blind pick norms. Of course the 2 most fun champs are going to be in every game. It's been like that since both of their releases.
All 3 of these champs are banned in 90% of my games thank god.
At the end of the day Zed and Yasuo are some of League's most popular champions and I believe that's why they're never nerfed. I hate it too and really get sick of not being able to play a single blind pick game without one of them being on a team.
Zed must be banned in every ranked game or he will be picked and then you're done. 99% you will lose.

yes it's really boring to constantly have the same match up with yasuo or zed and i agree that 80% is real and actuaky the stats show it clearly.
My theory is that when riot realized the number of toxic players they had in their game (am talking about the real number here not the 0.0001% they declare) they created specific champs for these people because you can be toxic as long as you are a paying toxic customer it's fine. So the point of solo queue is now to abuse the weak matchmaking system by taking a champ that can feed on the noobest they find on opgg and being able to 1v5 once fed enough. Then they can go full taunt on all chat and spamming mastery emote etc by abusing the weak report system. Riot don't want these people to leave so that's their way of optimizing the money they make out of the game.
Now the problem is that people are getting bored of the toxicity as well as the fact that solo queue as pretty much become takes what's broken and feed on opgg.
I love how you assume because a champion has a high pick rate they deserve nerfs. While I don't agree with the Wukong nerfs (especially considering the rune nerfs in the same patch) the zoe nerfs are completely justified she has been strong in both pro play and mid-high elo in solo q since release. On top of that she is extremely unfun to play against even to the designers of the game (check ghostcrawler reddit ama) now of course I know your argument will be that Yasuo and Zed are also unfun to play against but they both have counters that are straight forward. Zed - Zhonyas or just seekers depending on your champ. Yasuo - if your melee build tabis and use a short trade to proc shield before going for full trade, and if ranged build seekers and proc his shield with your range if he continues to play agro ask your jg for gank yasuo has pretty good engage but pretty bad escape due to inability to dash to his own minions.
