Adding the strikethrough to her ult gave alot of side-effects that Akali did not used to have with the old dash. Akali would of had a higher winrate by now if they just kept the old dash and left it alone. She is only weak right now because of the strikethrough.

Ok that right there I am gonna disagree with. I stomped so hard when they added the strike-through, although I am not sure exactly what made her unpopular I know for a fact that had nothing to do with it

The strikethrough is hit or miss basically. There are alot of players that flat out don't like how the new dash works, while there are some that like the new dash. This is enough to make her unpopular for some players.
