Ashe Support: Troll Pick, or Possibly Meta

Ashe, the champion played constantly throughout the Lcs and was seen as a pick or ban champion for a better part of the season, this was all as an adc however but there is a possibility of ashe being the new mf support. The reworked bond of stone/stone born pact allows movement impairing attacks to heal allies when they auto the same champion. This evidently can go well with ashe with her auto slow passive and constant slowing with her w ability. Not only can she heal allies by using her autos but with ardent censer allies gain the ardent censer buff granting them attack speed and extra damage, she also has a built in global vision which any support would die for, and can offer a lot of utility for a team. On top of this Ashe also has a global stun that can be annoying when it hits.

Build for Ashe support would look something like , , , , , This offers Ashe not only utility but also some damage which can benefit her team

Pros -Ashe works well with the new bond of stone plus ardent would giver her a lot of options -Global vision with her e -Source of damage with w and q also giving her poke -Global stun that could last quite a while

Cons -easily bursted -Why pick her when you could pick someone better -easily countered -gets steamrolled by a lot of tank champions

ALSO I AM NOT TELLING YOU TO PICK ASHE SUPPORT IN RANKED, IF YOU ACTUALLY CONSIDER TRYING THIS DO IT IN NORMALS INSTEAD OF A RANKED GAME.

Actually, harass supporting has been an option since season 1. Most recent seasons has made harass support even more viable option due Riot focus on damage instead of tanking or supporting.

Too many people think that supporting is something it is not. And they do make that impression without playing support. Riot has joined community bullies in twisting the support role. Support should not be assigned to bottom but to team, as support has viable options. I do still recall season 1 when adc was solo mid and bottom was mage. Support could go second jungle, top support or bottom support.

Ashe harass support has damage to hurt enemy. She has low level cc - slowing arrows - and she has stun skill shot. She would benefit having relic shield at start as it allows Ashe to heal herself and adc with last hits of minions while relic shield has stacks.

The cleaver ss and censer i've all seen on ashe support before but not sure on the other items. i'm fine with any supp as long as they're effective.

Ashe support has been viable up to gold for a long time. Your assessment is pretty spot on. Smart players will know how easily she can bursted when you work through her positioning tricks. Her damage doesn't keep up with other supports, but she can work as a carry if the game drags on.

item 3504 is debatable, even with synergy.

Whats the point of item 3504 ? SHe doesnt have any shields or heals. Also its not troll pick. Its good into some comps.

Did you already post this? Someone posted something similar about one month ago.

I appreciate the post and do want to try it on normal one day. Problem is the Ashe has no sustain then, but I guess it is good practice for a support to work on anyways.
