What will happen to vlad?

Hi, Vladimir is one of my favorite champions. Ive only played him after he got nerfed. Even though he is thrash tier in solo q, he is often banned in lcs. So im not entirely sure what's up with vlad, is he op or up? Even when i play him (bronze/silver), he feels like he is kinda hard to carry with. I have won most of my games with him but i feel like i just got lucky teams (im usually tough with myself). His kit really feels good but it seems like its lacking something. Will riot give him another rework do he can be good in both pro and solo q play? Will they simply ignore him like they did with urgot? What will most likely happen to vlad in the future? Imo he needs the Nunu treatment or shyvana.

Finally what is the thing that makes Vladimir so bad in solo queue and how to fix it?

I'll keep this brief.

Vlad is UP imo, because he's still riding off some LCS-nerfs that Riot hasnt (or rather, won't) revert. You're right in that he's hard to carry with, because Vlad's snowball potential isnt nearly as strong as many others. Vlad's hard to carry with - especially in soloqueue - because he lives for the late game, if you can make it there, your chances of winning are greatly increased. Riot's likely not going to pay attention to him other than the occasional nerf/buff, but I agree in that he could benefit greatly from some Nunu/Shyvana tweaks.

Playing Vlad - especially in a soloqueue environment - I'd recommend just trying to help your team not lose early game so that you can scale up. Don't lose towers, and don't feed kills. There's no pressure on you to do well and win early, because you have an exceptional late game.

Vlad got nerfed after the world patch if i'm right. Protobelt also got nerfed after the world patch. Vlad looks weak even on high elo atm. I'm sure he would be bad on lcs now.

So i play Vlad from time to time and i know what you mean Vlad is a champion that punishes when he isnt focused but gets melted when he is. i think building him Full AP is better then hybid tank right now try item 3285 into item 3009 item 3116 item 3089 item 3135 item 3065 or item 3001 last iteam you are going to want to avoid being the only front liner, if there is one other true tank Alistar Maokai Shen etc etc then Vladimir is a good pick play passive for the most part and be ready for team plays to happen summoner 6 or summoner 12 if you are scared of your lane opponet summoner 7 may work out from time to time
