Meddler i'd like to list a few additional problems bot lane suffers at the moment.

  • As it stands, Supports are literally soloing adcs. It's not uncommon for blitzs R to do 250 by itself at lvl 6 which is when an adc has like 900 health. I'm not saying nerf support damage, but if there was a way i can survive more than one brand W without having to run to my tower. Warlords got nerfed to hell and yes its working now but not against the burst champs like brand and zyra. Let alone you're trying to survive the other adcs poke if they have any.

  • Jungler presence ( as you mentioned ) is way... too high, getting tower dived now not even pushed anymore is so common with full health. ( hecarim, vi )

  • Items are way too expensive. I had a game yesterday where i went IE + ER on Varus, poppy had sunfire cape + ninja tabi. My Qs fully charged were doing 110. I can bring up the replay. Thats full damage.

  • The ninja tabi buff needs to be reverted, it was introduced when armor pen was a thing, it should just be reverted back to 10%.

  • ADCs are dying before the team fight even happens. Nerf ignite.

But to address your post...

Brand and Zyra aren't supports, they should be killing ADCs. They have high base damage and rely more on levels than items.

Blitzcrank is an old champ, so his scalings/base damage is retardedly high, but its a very one dimensional kit.. look at Rammus, Amumu, Malphite.

Getting tower dove isn't an issue with jungle presence, it is a problem with towers themselves. They don't hit hard enough, fast enough, especially with CoC being taken on most junglers. The reason bot lane cops the dives more often is simple.

  1. They are squishier than toplaners
  2. There is 2 people to help burst/CC/Tank tower hits
  3. No fortification on towers, so its appealing to gank bot and take tower for free first blood gold. 4 Dragon is botlane. Kill bot, take dragon.

If you know you are being dived, just give the tower. It's better you back off, let them take it and then contest a dragon if they go for it.. rather than dying to the dive, giving tower and then giving dragon also.

It isn't that items are too expensive, it is that games are much shorter now, and more snowbally with tower buff and dragons. Higher ELO you will be farming better, so you have your items sooner.. low elo the games go on so long that ADCS do suffer, since they are the most gold reliant. If ADCs got their power any sooner, itd be broken as shit.. and the bot lane focus would be even higher because junglers would be trying to get their ADCs ahead.

If you are dying before the teamfight happens... position better. Until 3-4 items you are going to get molested by everyone. Just part of the role.
