Can we please get the champion's role clear because it seems every champion (especially new ones) can do EVERYTHING nowadays and players are starting to feel a little mad so let's just go to the basics

Assassin champions- Kill a -SINGLE- target and get the hell out because that's all you are going to do Bruisers- Take damage and deal damage but have slow mobility AND NO GAP CLOSERS OR STUNS Tanks- Tank damage and provide the team with CC, THAT'S IT Mages- Deal -AOE- damage and CC, OK? ADC-Glass cannons that depend on the team to survive, pretty much anyone can 1 shot them Supports- Heal, Shield and provide CC

That's it, so yeah GET TO WORK YOU !#@%%$^&%(&*#$^##!$~!@

World must be really nice place for you if you think everything is as easy as you did here.

No one, outside of proplay, is going to play tanks if they are balanced without dmg.

(bruiser part in caps is pure bullshit, bruisers themselves aren't really class, rather fighters, divers, skirmishers, text in caps refers to juggernauts)

How do you expect tanks to survive the laning phase if they have no damage to trade with?

You clearly weren't playing during the "Gentlemen" top tank days. Those days inspired the Cho skin, imo. Tank tops would be bros, having tea and crumpets and telling their own junglers to fuck off their enemy bro. They would name their kids after each other and would be incredibly perturbed by everyone else going into fits of unneccesary rage. Good ole days.

Rages everywhere were often put down by everyone looking top lane and listening to the top laners exchanging tomfoolery, jokes, complete futile attemps at killing each other, grandiose attempts at 1v1 that would often last well into to endgame, horsing around with each other like BFFs and turning the Rift into 3v3s of raging imbeciles, 1v1 between gentlemanly tanks (lasting at least 5 minutes) in the river and quietly laughing supports watching the spectacle.

I think we lost something somewhere along the way between then and now.

I agree; give Ornn his shield back.

...but sometimes... Sometimes the gentlemen tanks would make the game timer stop somehow. People would stop fighting and spectate their 1v1 and then challenge their opponent (they had been raging at) to a 1v1 as well. Everyone would get gentrified by the tanks that couldn't do damage to each other.

We didn't know what was good till it went away.

The fact the tanks couldn't damage each other created some type of something we needed. Some type of honor code between enemies would irradiate out of that lane. Yes, ask the bartender for whatever it is I'm having. I'm having nothing but fond memories. It is true. They were groomed to be leaders that toned off rages sparking elsewhere by the time they exited their gentlemanly horsing around top lane. I wouldn't mind having those days back one bit.
