I swear every game someone decides to not help their team or throw during someone else's promos just so they don't win the game.
I even heard someone call themselves "the gatekeeper" he told the person in promos that he wasn't worth getting promoted and just fed then afk'd... I can probably even dig up a screen shot of it.

Honestly solo draft pick has better players in it... It is really depressing

Sceptreuo2 votesI just had this happen to me. I was in my promo for Gold 3, fed my ADC huge, all of our lanes were winning. Then at about 30 minutes into the game when all we needed to do was group and push, my adc killed the rapture camp. The jungler, who was duo with the top lane, told my ADC to apologize for taking his jungle and that he would simply sit in base until he did. Of course my ADC was just as stubborn as the jungler and would not say "sorry" to calm the silly tension. As a result, the enemy team pushed mid, and fought us 2 times in a 3v5 because our top and jungle were sitting in fountain talking trash. They told me and my ADC who were both in our promos, that we didn't deserve to get promoted and this is how they are going to stop it.
Seriously, anyone who says the phrase, "it's just a game" inside ranked play should not be allowed to queue up ranked. It is obviously, simply a game. However, in ranked, people are seriously trying to improve and see how far THEY PERSONALLY can get. Having this negative atmosphere with people saying they don't care it's just a game, takes away from the purpose of ranked.
