I'm having trouble with Yi 1 tricks in solo que

I play Vladimir mid, and even before Yi gets fed, which he will, he buys bork, and finishes his jungle item. It's impossible to build anything against him defensively, because he shreds through hp, and deals a ton of true damage. Health is useless, armor is even worse. I try to roam, and then master yi camps me, pushing in waves, and then chases me down in the jungle. I need to have cc, but My champion lacks any hard cc for Yi. It just seems like if you don't have a lot of hard cc on your team vs a Yi your odds of winning are grim, and you should just dodge the game. Any advice vs a yi as vlad? I do build hourglass or at least stopwatch for his ganks early, but not really sure what else to build/do to mitigate the carry potential of Yi. I also normally take teleport on Vlad instead of ignite, or another sum, because my bot lanes feed a lot of the time, and I hard camp them to make sure they don't.

Ghost + flash sums, build randuins make sure you have max cdr you still might lose the game to him but he certainly won't be killing you as easily.

You can also try the 100% ban option

Well the answer to Yi is macro play and team play. I realize it's a lot to ask of teamwork in solo Q, but you could at least take a proactive measure against Yi in the macroplay. Yi doesn't actually have many tools to engage fights, defend sieges, work in most teamcomps, and he has to splitpush slower than normal to avoid being more vulnerable than most splitpushers. It's usually the Jungler's job to do this but all you need to do is move the game faster than Yi can keep up (which isn't that hard given your team isn't full of monkeys) and he'll fall farther and farther behind.

lots of CC is the best way to beat him.
