I know this has been asked many times but, Is 
ever going to get an update? The last update for him was many patches ago and he hasn't really been touched since. I know he's getting a Texture Update along with every other pre-2013 champion but I feel like Cho should get more than that. A new splash art at least? His current splash doesn't really scream "Terror of the Void."
Lord Graves III5 votesThey know he needs an update and they want to do it, but they refuse to half ass him and are afraid that once they start doing Cho they won't do anything else for months as they custom build every stage of his feast stacking, and redo all of his skins turning him into a full on Xenomorph growing into a Kaiju.
They said they wanted to increase the model changes as he grows. They also said it would be a massive undertaking given his number of skins. So they are going after easier projects like Viktor and Warwick or other equally important ones like Sion Taric or Soraka. Cho actually looks alright. Not great but far from the worst.

They have a clear image of what they want to do with him and a project they like to explore. They have endless possibilities that they could do with cho'gath. Right now they are focus on the summoner's rift update. We just have to be patience with them after they are done with sion rework.
PhoenixSlayer134 votesIronStylus has actually talked about this a little bit, and said that Cho'Gath would be the best candidate for what he calls "scale creep." By that, he wants to make Cho so that he's distinctly different looking at each stage of Feast, which to be frank would be a massive undertaking.
tau432 votesI know he's still a broken champ and I love that about him. He's actually kept his silence, probably just jinxed it. And if you can get to level 6 on him, you can dominate your lane opponent. Also you can get 7-8k health on him jungling with Ancient Golem.

Knight Devout2 votesMhh, I might be wrong, but in the old Lore, Shurima's fall was linked to the Void. It might have something to do with that.
However, keep in mind that , unlike the Renekton and Nasus "plane", the Void is likely to stay canon in league's lore, since it's not a vague trope as Kayle/Nasus/Taric's "alternate planes of existence"
