More clarity needed for windspeaker's blessing

Windspeaker's Blessing caught me on my first try at using it. Outside of the game it says that it increases shields/heals by 10%, and if used on allies give 15% resists as well. That's fine, but when I want to play a selfish self healing/shielding champ, I might decide to take this mastery just for the 10% and screw the 15% resists, then end up with a totally useless mastery ingame. (it conveniently mentions "excluding yourself" in the tooltip ingame rather than while you're setting up pre-game).

Perhaps use the ingame tooltip for its description as well? I'm fine now that I've noticed it but I think it's misleading enough for others to make the same mistake.

It would be reasonable to assume that the 10% increased shield/heal strength applied to all heals/shields, while the 15% bonus resists was an addition that only applied to allies.

Sorry we can give you more clarity on windspeaker's blessing, they removed clarity from the game.

The description from the mastery tree clearly state that it only works for shields and heals on allies.

I posted the description from the mastery tree above.

First sentence: Your shields/heals are 10% stronger.

Second sentence: Additionally, your heals/shields increase your target's resistances by 15% for 3 seconds when used on an ally other than yourself.

Second sentence mentions it, but I took the mastery for the first part, because they made it sound like the 15% resists are just an extra bonus with some limitations. Then ingame, they actually described it properly in a way that made it clearer than it was outside of the game.

AT this point im not even sure which of the two tooltips is wrong and which one is correct. I've read both from people around the boards/web/reddit. Curious if a rioter has responded on this anywhere.

I've always assumed it did what you think it does due to the wording on the tooltip. Increased healing and shields overall, resistances to only allies. Might try in a game when I get home to make sure. Get down to low health on Nami or something and heal with / without the keystone. Should be a quick test.
