Tbh, I am getting a little tired of these "anime" skins. I don't object to the occasional pop culture reference; for example, I thought the original star fighter Lux was cute in re sailor moon. The fact they made an entire series for that concept was not an ideal, HOWEVER, the original show's premise was on a team, so it made sense. However, many of the most recent skins are leaning in that direction, much to my chagrin.
Elementalist Lux is cloyingly cute and unsophisticated - like a twelve-year-old's idea femininity. The concept is so divorced from the rest of League that I feel its aesthetic stands out in a bad way. Suffice to say, I am not a fan of this year's skin.
