Where is Gold supposed to come from for Supports?

I think it is a genuine question that remains after the refusal of Riot to improve the income with support items post T3 upgrade. You are punished for CS'ing besides the fact that neither enchanters nor tanks can do it come late game. Further you should not take Kills and being on the losing team won't even net you assists. 3g per 10 seconds is a hillarious joke in an elo where games tend to last longer than the income keeps supports relevant. If you finish your Support Item around 20 minutes and have at least 10 more to go, which is quite common in my bronze games, you are fucking starved and can't keep up item wise. It honestly feels awful. What will they change?

I too would like answers to these questions. Riot had stated that the gold punishment for junglers killing creep last season was a messy Band-Aid until they could find a better solution. Then they turn around and apply this to Supports. Like if it was bad for one role, why the fuck would you shift it to another role?

Because if anyone is disposable, its the supports right? Smh. It is almost like they never wanted to make more supports for marksmen and instead chose older squishier garbage magic users to do the job of both of them better. ... yes, that was sarcasm.
