3 Gold every 10 seconds is not enough

So Riot decided to revert support changes, to prevent abuse from other laners. Which is fine. Most Supports can not even farm in the first way. But the problem about virtually no income being generated post T3 remains. I hope Riot will adress this situation, as the only way to actually participate in the game is by buying items, which you can't with no way to generate gold as a support. It feels bad, WR and PR aside.. Would be nice if a Rioter could find the time to answer if they are still looking for a solution.

Support is a utility role, not a carry role.

You should be getting utility levels of income.

Many Bot Laners (both ADC and Support players) are extremely happy to not see Brand, Zyra and Velkoz.

If you bring a Mage into the Support role you should be prepared to get less gold and less items than you would if you were actually a laner.

The Support role is not a dumping ground so Mage players can avoid learning Assassin matchups.

Might be unpopular, but I typically play Lux as a support. I actually think the changes are pretty alright. Like I see way less bullshirt mages roleplaying as a support. Granted Lux is still one of those mages. Why I like it is that I can focus on obtaining money by...unorthodox ways, whether or not my ADC likes my tactics. Just like, steal their kills it's not like these Kai'Sas and Aphelios can do more damage than you. Also totally irrelevant but like I'm so happy I don't have to waste my...hard earned gold...to upgrade that pathetic little blue twig that wards..and like..stuff. [sg-lulu]

as long as riot keeps trying to handicap the support role it will always suck ass to play as. we're not supposed to get kills, only assist with them. we're apparently not allowed to have gold. Not supposed to cs. Not supposed to roam either because roaming for 30 seconds means you're even further behind by a level and a half. (3-4 levels behind the midlaners)

people wonder why mages play botlane.. well it's because they have damage that can secure kills. they can build items faster because they are getting more gold than your traditional support (sona, soraka, etc). In turn they level faster and can roam without much fear of being helplessly caught out. Also utility supports are losing their viability and entire identities to newer champions like Senna/Aphelios. Senna's aoe +ms +camo ability outclasses Sona's E in every conceivable way. But Senna also heals, does huge damage, has aoe root, global shielding/damaging ult, passive scaling mechanic, etc. list goes on. Aphelios is 5 champions in one that he can mix & match on a whim.

You guys complain about supports when riot releases some busted adc/support hybrid character and an adc that is literally overpowered and has a global effect for every weapon in his kit. Global effects that other champions need a whole R for.

i main support and it's such a helpless fucking role. seriously . you can do your best, provide vision for everyone, build properly, make good plays AND STILL you will never be able to carry your team because you're half of a player by the game's own mechanics hindering you 24/7.

Also fuck everyone saying they're tired of seeing Zyra botlane. Zyra cannot viably go mid with all these new ASSASSINS with 2+ dashes, AOE CC, and insane 100-0 potential. Zyra is TRULY immobile , with plants that have no brains or damage (her plant damage never scales with her itemization), and a laughable ult that 100% of the new champions can just skirt out of . Not to mention almost anything can oneshot her plants, supered or not.
