Veigar is officially dead. Even pros say he's not worth playing anymore.

Your poll asks if Veigar is shit.

There is no option that is just "yes" there is one saying "Yes veigar is overpowered". But there is no answer for just "Veigar is shit"

The area of his E should disable all movement-related abilities upon cast (it should disable them during the delay and the actual stun-wall duration). This includes Flash, Ghost, all movement speed boosts, all dashes, and all blinks. That, plus one (or a combination) of these options:

  1. Increasing the size of his W's AOE to compensate for the fact that its delay is excessively long and it is nigh-on useless without the enemy champion being stunned.
  2. Decreasing the delay on his W to make it easier to land against non-stunned enemies in the E AOE (that is, all of them, since hardly anyone is stupid enough to stun themselves when there's so much room to avoid W).
  3. Slowing enemies inside the cage.

That would give it less counterplay than b4

Enemies would still be able to move and dodge his W and Q. Their reaction times determine whether they get hit by the stun, Q, and W. That's far more counterplay than being immediately stunned for 2.5 seconds and getting hit by all three of Veigar's damaging abilities without being able to react (without a cleanse).

Who the fuck cares what pros say? Your argument could have been more convincing with your own opinion, and not the pro's lol.

Aren't we taught to NOT care what other people think? Pro or not, this guy won't stop me from playing Veigar and finding out for myself if he sucks or not.

He's pretty bad currently, far from unsalvagable though (most notably he needs a buff to the AP per unit kill on Q, and a buff to his E; likely a decrease in the delay on the walls of the cage)

Then he'd probably be in a pretty good spot. Riot said he'd get buffs if he underperformed, lets see if they keep their word.

cast time needs to go at least, then go from there

LoLKiru1 votes

Isn't the cast time like 1/10th of a second still?

Not that I disagree, just curious.

RazorTS1 votes

the cast time is 0.5 - 0.75 seconds, cant be more than that as it takes bit less time compared to event horizon appearing and we know its 0.75s for sure. Thats why it was bit tricky to stun people with him before now its practically impossible on moving target

I hope they don't give him more "Compensation buffs"

I dunno. I think it might take more than a game or two for even pros to determine how good a champion is. I'm inclined to agree that he's worse in the sense that he does not have the utility that support Veigar had (the niche pick that he was) without the instant stun, and other than that, Veigar was unimpressive on the whole. He still is unimpressive on the whole at first glance, but time will tell if faster AP gain and safer harass with the buffed Q makes him better,
