PSA: Stop pinging people off of farm you cant get anyways.

So as a JG/Sup main (I must be a masochist or something) nothing is more frustrating than someone pinging to keep me from taking farm that it would be impossible to get.

Example 1: I'm jungling and my Orianna mid dies to Katarina under tower. I do what a jungler is SUPPOSED TO DO and head mid to hold the wave and last hit the minions. As I'm LAST HITTING (NOT pushing) the minions under tower, Orianna pings me like a fucking madman while I'm last hitting saying I'm taking her farm. What she fails to realize is that its better for an ally to get the farm than for NO ONE to get it and just let it die to tower. She would not have been able to get the wave in this situation so last hitting it until she returns (That means until she comes WITHIN AA/Ability range of the current wave) was the right choice, so don't ping me for it.

Junglers hold your lane after your death to minimize damage to the tower and soak up the XP/Gold you would've missed while you were taking your free trip back to the fountain. Towers don't level or buy items, so if the tower will kill the minions then let your jungler take the wave when you cant.

Example 2: I'm Sona support with Vayne adc. We're against a Tristana who pushes lane as the cannon wave is coming in. Vayne is out of mana and JUST finished an AA on another minion but the tower shot that will kill the cannon minion is mid-flight. I quickly use Sona's Q to secure the cannon (since Vayne was physically unable to) and then she starts question mark pinging me telling people I'm trolling and stealing farm. Had I not last hit that cannon minion WE BOTH would've missed that gold so its better that I take it than no one, yet I get pinged like I did something wrong.

Supports aren't supposed to take an adc's farm (obviously) but if the adc misses a last hit by a small margin/doesn't AA and the target will die to minions, is oom, or cooldowns are spent, then the support SHOULD be taking the minion so that at least one of you gets it.

Stop pinging people for taking farm you are completely unable to get. It's dumb and defeats this game's entire purpose. (Amass gold to get strong so you can break the enemy nexus) Lose the attitude of "IF I CANT HAVE IT, NO ONE CAN!" and learn how to think as a team, not just for yourself.

I 100% agree. If my adc pings me off their farm while they're IN BASE, SUPPOSED TO BE BUYING ITEMS, That rustles my feathers just a bit.

While I agree with the sentiment, it can differ with execution.

When holding the wave underneath your tower after an ally dies, I'd recommend clearing the wave as quickly as possible (without missing minions) to ensure it resets.

If you only last-hit, it is possible for the minions to stall your next wave and set-up a slowpush towards your enemy's tower (letting them freeze and forcing your ally to overextend).

I've witnessed many junglers (ally and enemy) completely screw over their allied laner by not understanding this.

People complain about weak towers but if you don't let the tower farm when the laner is not there then how is it ever gonna be able to get any items...

If you're a jungle support player then you have no clue how to manipulate waves. Nothing pisses me off more than freezing top lane right outside my tower only for my jungle to ruin it.

I've seen people teleporting to minion waves I'm clearing. It makes me so sad, they don't even increase the amount of gold the team gets and I play champions that scale well with items...

If I'm supp and you're in base buying items, I am taking that farm you cannot get. I won't shove the lane unless you asked. Otherwise, I'm freezing or resetting it.

Hell I still get adcs that wont let me last hit cannons with face of the mountain. I have seen on multiple occasions, an adc flash to get a cannon minion they couldn't have otherwise, so no one else would.

It is silly.

I hate seeing top lane burn TP because they see the jungler last hitting "their" creeps. (This specific case happened after top lost his tower and came bot to steal our creeps too.)

I get annoyed when I play support because I have yet to encounter a SINGLE adc that knows how to CS under tower and loses an easy 40-60 minions to the tower.

Yet if I take them, I’m stealing from them.

Learn the rhythm: melee take two tower shots, then you auto. Caster minions take one tower shot then an auto. Minor juggling if you don’t have that much AD yet or are severely behind.

Last hitting under turret often actually gives your laner MORE farm because the wave will be off the turret slightly faster so the next minion wave will meet at the middle instead of also under the turret. Same with pushing an already slow pushing lane when both laners are gone (dead or b'ed) as long as you can push it fast enough under the turret. This'll give your opponent less farm so less of a farm gap in your lane.

I can concur to this.

I used to be a jungle main (before I went back to mid) and whenever someone pinged me for help, I would gank, and if needed, stay in the lane and try to poke without taking cs.

However, I can remember this one game I played when my Adc pinged me for assistance, so I naturally dropped what I was doing and headed over for a bank, as well as sending the "on my way" ping. But by the time I got to botlane, our Adc and support were both dead, and the enemy Adc and support had recalled, as they were low health from the trade. Naturally, I decided to clean up the minion wave (as jungling always leaves you behind a little in exp and gold) and maybe even push a little to get some chip damage off their tower. However, as soon as I start hitting the minions, our Adc (who is still dead) starts screaming at me, "I SAID GANK, NOT CS" and threatens to report me. Like I just don't understand why you don't want me to kill a few minions when you're already dead anyways...

Anyways, I guess most Adc's (I am also guilty of feeling like this, although I don't flame) feel that they and they ALONE are entitled to taking the botlane cs, with the exception of relic shield charges and get irritated when their support or jungle tries to take their farm. I guess some people are just better at controlling their emotions than others.

I said this exactly yesterday when a Kog started pinging me followed by a "CAN YOU NOT?!" furiously spelt so it said something like CN OYU NTE?!

then he tried to take my red, his supp accidentally maybe took it, so he tried to blame it on her

As a Support player, this is the reason why I try to auto the minion my ADC is about to auto in case they miscalculate and miss the CS. At least if they miss it, I would still get it. And don't worry my lovely ADC players. As the support, it would be statistically impossible for my autos to out damage your autos because my AD shouldn't be higher than yours.
