Let's make this clear: The Fiddlesticks buffs on the PBE are not enough to bring him back
A small increase to his E damage versus non-champions and a revert of a nerf he should never have gotten is not enough to pull him from the grave. FIddlesticks is beyond bad as a jungler, wildly out of meta, and cannot hope to compete versus anything meta, or even B or C tier junglers because of how much he is punished by the new jungle and how hard his itemization and play patterns have been gutted. Damage has shot through the roof and the squishy, immobile, mana-hungry mage who half the time has to stand still in the middle of the enemy team to do anything needs massive changes and buffs to get him back into meta.
Arguably at this point his support role is better than his jungle, and let's be honest, it's still C or D-tier at best. It's sad to see many champions be allowed to just exist in a blatantly overpowered state for so long but nothing is done about the flat-out garbage state Fiddles has been in ever since he got castrated after the MYMU. His extreme overreliance on Zhonya's, which is basically nerfed more and more with each successive season, is also a huge problem.
Fiddles is in desperate need of a Shyv/Aatrox level rework that not only straight buffs him but gives him more tools to survive in this meta as well as ways to play around his glaring and crippling weaknesses.
