It makes ganking beneficial whether or not they get the kill. It makes or breaks certain champions who can take entire segments effortlessly. It hasnt made top lane any better and has made playing any champion without tower burst feel like shit.
I think they need to get rid of the gold or get rid of demolish.
We can but its a learning tool. It gives players incentive to push the lane which helps to set up for enemy ganks for the trade off, also it incentivizes well thought out plays that leaves the lane open to bot lane plus jg demolishing turret early.
Just get rid of the gold, laning is fun up until 15 min lel
