Malphite FEELS weak because the lack of effects

What do you do with Malph after you hit your ult? You may q someone, and use your e, slow all enemies attack speed and such, which is nice. Malphite is not weak at all in teamfights, but he feels he's just one ult and that's it. All his basic abilities are almost unnoticable, the effects are so minimal.

Please give some love to Malph in terms of VFX. Hell, even is ult is just him jumping into the enemies, if i can call that a jump.

It doesn't matter how noticeable they are: He hits like a freight train and keeps going. He steals MS, reduces AS in an AoE, has strong damage scaling off of just about everything, massive tankiness steroids, and low cooldowns.

He is tough as nails and maybe except 1 spell, the rest of his kit are as deadly as they can get.

The lack of visual impact is probably the the deadliest aspect of him given he has a kit that train wrecks the entire enemy team as he pleases, as long as a good communication is established within his team.

I think this is a trend that is going to happen as they start to update more champs visuals. Those like Malphite are going to look and Feel weak even though the numbers are there for them.

I disagree. A correctly placed ult makes me feel like a powerhouse, while my team eats them.

I play tank 'support' Malph though. My goal isn't to get kills myself, it's to help my teammates kill.

I get what you mean about him being visually underwhelming, but I don't know how to improve his readability. He's a walking, talking rock, his kit is pretty straightforward.

I was just thinking about this today. Dude hits HARD. Way harder than a lot of champions. But his auto's just.... feel weak / flat. His Q and E both feel lacking and don't really have any UMPH them.

He really needs a VFX and SFX to get across the fact the enemy team just got slammed with a hulking boulder man.

He is weak because RekSai Alistar Sion have his ult on a 12 second cooldown.

Malphite needs the Garen passive treatment, at level 11 ignore the non-epic monster and maybe the minions too.

Malphite needs a better mana base, in lane he waste a lot of mana, maybe some like this:

Base Mana: 282 ---> 320

Also in his W need a better scale of the splash damage.

SPLASH DAMAGE: 30 / 38 / 46 / 54 / 62% AD up to 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70% AD

And much Visual effects, for example his E need to be more noticeable when the enemies have the atk spd reduced, the same to the Q slow.

Finally Malphite needs a more bigger model to match up with his splash art img.

The should make Glacial Malphite Q the default with some thematic change, it feels so much better than the cheese wheel of death

You stick to their adc like flyes on shit. It's seriously the most annoying thing in the world to deal with, a big rock fisting you with an icegauntlet slowly to your death.

You know my trick?

Build Trinity Force, not as a first item, but 2nd or 3rd. You'll surprise a lot of people with your damage output, especially considering that Malph's W gives him extra AD.

Some people might indeed expect him to be a walking ult, but it's funny when the enemy carry realizes 'oh shit, that's MALPH's damage, jesus christ!'

He need a VU with a huge size like Sion.
