All this time I thought that you actually had to manually code the changes in then put them on the server or something. Yet so many changes have gotten through that were "not intended" or "accidental" and it got me wondering HOW you ACTUALLY put changes on the pbe?
Is there just like a button or something? Do files get misplaced? Like what happens?
WarlockLaw3 votesFrom what I understand from their explanations in the past, the people who put the code on the PBE aren't necessarily the same people that were working on the champ/skin/rework/buff/nerf. The guys that put the stuff on the PBE sort through the work other people are working on and if something gets mislabeled or misread as ready, it gets shipped. Basically its a miscommunication between different Rioters that causes these sorts of things.
redniwediS3 votesIt could honestly be as easy as being accidentally flagged as "ready" with a single push of a button. If there's miscommunication somewhere in the pipeline things like that can easily happen.
Don't forget Riot managed to accidentally delete Kog'Maw from the game a long time ago.
