I don't mind a bit of lighthearted stuff like the yordles or champs like jinx or ivern that bring a goofyness to league, but Riot is starting to make Invader Zim's GIR into champs now...(please note I love GIR, but he doesn't exactly sit well in league)

and before you say, "oh you just want depressing edgelord stuff" bite me... a huge part of the roster is spouting one liners or is so serious it's goofy. I can deal with that, but zoe is crossing the line into some real derp here. I don't mind her, so much as she sits super far from the norm of league and opens it up to more champs that don't thematically fit quite right. This is all my opinion of course and I am looking forward to seeing her exact #s

GIR is a character from the cartoon Invader Zim, a series about an alien constantly failing to take over the planet, and with some really..stupid plans, for lack of a better way to put it. GIR is Zim’s sidekick, but because Zim’s leaders despised him, instead of an awesome robot like the other invaders got, they made a robot out of junk pieces, threw some garbage in the head for the brain, and told him it was an advanced model..which he believes. GIR is silly, stupid, and just overall goofy, and wears a disguise as a green dog. By far the best character of the series.

and yea, I knew all the responses would be, "I like her, and so what if she's hyper and doesn't fit" I like a fitting narrative/style. personal preferences and so on. It'd be like putting Spongebob into Star Wars, sure spongebob is a fine character, but he doesn't complement the style.

Edit: Her ability details have now been revealed. Fortunately, she doesn't seem like she will as mobile as the original reveal looked. He blink turns out to be her ultimate ability. Also, she probably has a couple movement speed items, like item 3100 item 3285 item 3117 , built in the video, which is why she was able to run-down her opponents so easily.

Going by the video, this looks like the most frustrating champion to play against that has been added in a while... Maybe the absolute most frustrating yet. I need more information, but it looks like she just runs laps around other champions while somehow also getting extra flash usages and having an additional portal blink-ability. This seems like mobility creep taken to a new level, but maybe some of this is showcasing the new masteries. She also appears to have a ridiculously long-ranged, long-lasting cc ability with a large enough AOE to make it impossible to reliably avoid despite its delay... Think about this projectile popping up over a wall from the fog-of-war... And yet it also leaves a trap zone behind if it misses. Even if sleep is interrupted by taking damage, that range looks awful to play against... She also appears to have high burst damage.

Unless this video is showing completely misleading unrealistic scenarios, I can't imagine players not perma-banning this champion as long as she is not underpowered. Her grating personality seems like it will hit the last nerve of players driven mad by playing against that kit... Hopefully, the video isn't an accurate representation.

Thankfully, the video is showing us the high points without proportionality to how she'll function in-game. In game people will just learn not to use summoners around her, and then she gets trampled by the fact that she just does not have an ultimate. Also, everyone just allowed her to land her spells on them for free.

I actually feel like she might underperform on release, simply because her Drowsy Bubble and Tennis Ball of Doom are way too telegraphed.

Even without people wasting flash to try to escape her, it looks like she would still simply pop out of nowhere and run people down, and she can still use her own flash if she needs it. I'll wait and see before jumping to conclusions, but she looks absolutely horrible to play against. She's described as a burst mage, but a burst champion with this kit seems disgusting... If she gets ahead of you in lane and has kill potential, you can't CS properly due to her zoning traps, and if you get CCed, she will burst you down. If you try to chase or run from her, she looks like she'll catch you with her extremely long-ranged CC...

The only problematic thing I really see is that she suffers real bad against enemies with dashes that aren't flash or items, but can just steal the ones that do. Meaning 0 counterplay for those unless you can walk out of her bubble.

Of course, she does have the issue of being squishy magey. I truly believe that if taric/jinx stood and 2v1d her, she'd have splatted in that clip. Taric facechecks the tennis ball, stuns the mage, jinx gattlng guns her down. Ideally + exhaust while sitting in an awkward position for her to steal said exhaust. If it goes on long enough, invuln for even longer jinx dps.

When I saw her teaser I didn't think GIR. He seems way more mindless hyper to me.

My first thought was: "What happens when you give an only child magic master too much sugar? Zoe!"

I'm not going to judge this champ till I get a hold of her bio.

Her kit looks goofy; it seams to fit with her personality but it needs a connection with her lore to tie her down to league.

Take Lulu for example and her abilities. they are silly but they fit the character well and with her lore it makes sense.

Im gonna play the ever living pajamas out of her just to annoy people since a lot of people are so triggered by how she is. I personally love how upbeat she is, that attitude she has may even help if I start to tilt
